Fulham are looking to build on last weekend's home win over Bournemouth and continue their strong form at Craven Cottage by dealing Aston Villa's top four hopes a blow on Saturday afternoon.
The Villains slipped to a 1-2 defeat to Manchester United last weekend and will be very keen to ensure their season doesn't start to lose momentum by bouncing back at the first possible opportunity here.
Fulham vs Aston Villa Tips
Saturday's game at Craven Cottage may well produce the opposite result to those recorded by both teams last weekend.
Villa have been the far superior team to Fulham for the majority of the season and have a great chance of getting back to winning ways after their recent stumbles.
Losing at home to Newcastle, Chelsea in the FA Cup and Man Utd does not yet signal a crisis for Unai Emery and his team and they can steady the ship by picking up their sixth Premier League away win of the season.
Fulham have been much stronger at home than away this term, with seven of their eight top- flight wins coming at the Cottage, but they had not won any of their three home games leading up to last week's 3-1 win over Bournemouth, as they drew with Liverpool and Everton and lost 2-0 to Newcastle.
Villa have won four of the teams' last five meetings, including a comfortable 3-1 home victory in November.
The exception was a 3-0 defeat in this fixture last season, although they were reduced to 10 men in that game when Douglas Luiz was sent off with the score at 1-0.
Villa will be looking to their top scorer Ollie Watkins to propel them to victory and he may well oblige.
Watkins is joint-fifth in the Premier League goal charts with 11 goals this season, including one in the first meeting of these two teams this season.
He scored in the recent matches against Newcastle and Sheff Utd and should cause problems for a Cottagers side who have kept only one clean sheet in their last seven matches.
