Football BTTS Acca Tips: Eight teams to find the net on Saturday
After the drama of this week's FA Cup ties, it’s back to business as usual this weekend with a full set of domestic fixtures in England’s top four divisions, barring any postponements due to the quite frankly baltic weather. We’ve put together four of our favourite both teams to score football tips for the 3pm kick-offs which currently pay 11/1 as an accumulator with bet365.
Here at BettingOdds, com we’d advise using bet365 for your both teams to score accumulators as they offer a soccer accumulator bonus. In our case here, it would be a 10% bonus that is added to our winnings should all the selections land, taking the four-fold from 11/1 up to just north of 12/1.
BTTS: Cardiff v Coventry, Sunderland v Doncaster, Crewe v Portsmouth, Port Vale v Newport
The first of four games I’ve focused my attention on this weekend comes from The Championship, where Cardiff take on Coventry in the Welsh capital. The Bluebirds are unbeaten in their last four games, however they have taken just one point from their last three home games, in comparison to seven points in their last three on the road. Mick McCarthy will fancy their chances here after wins against Bristol City and Rotherham and I expect them to get on the scoresheet on Saturday.
Coventry City currently sit three points above the relegation zone and I’m sure they would take that same situation come the end of the season. The Sky Blues have picked up some crucial points on the road this term and since the turn of the year they have taken four points from three games, with a win at Millwall and a point at Birmingham City. Only Brentford have seen a higher amount of their away fixtures contain BTTS this season than Coventry and I’m leaning towards both teams notching in South Wales.
Over recent weeks, Crewe have been one of the best teams to follow in the both teams to score market, with it landing in all of their games between Christmas and the end of January. It’s seven home games on the bounce now that BTTS has landed for the Railwaymen and it would be no surprise to see that run stretch to eight against Portsmouth.
Pompey currently sit fourth in the League One table and will have their sights firmly set on a promotion push in this final third of the campaign. The South coast side have conceded seven in their last five games but are unbeaten in their last three. Kenny Jackett’s side have the best goal difference in the division this campaign and will believe they can take all three points here on this long trip.
Remaining in England’s third tier and another two sides who will have promotion on their minds going into the weekend are Sunderland and Doncaster Rovers who face off at the Stadium of Light. The hosts have struggled for consistency this season and as a result they find themselves just outside the play-off places. 69% of Sunderland’s home fixtures this campaign have seen both teams get on the scoresheet with only Burton bettering that percentage.
Doncaster have been another side who have seen a high proportion of their games include both teams scoring this term, particularly away from the Keepmoat. Rovers have won four of their last five on the road and this means they have nothing to be scared of when making the trip up the A1.
The final fixture in this quartet for Saturday comes from League Two where Port Vale take on Newport County. Southend pulled off a shock when beating Newport 1-0 at Rodney Parade on Tuesday evening and it’s not the first time the Welsh side’s defence has looked shaky over recent months with just one win in the entirety of December and January. 71% of their away games have seen BTTS land and considering their recent form it’s remarkable to still see them in 5th place in the table.
Port Vale have scored eight goals in their last two games at Vale Park. After being winless in six John Askey’s side have two wins in their last three. Their form has been patchy of late but Newport’s less-than-convincing defence gives plenty of reason to believe the home side can score in this one.
All four games kick off at 3pm on Saturday. Best of luck to those following and please gamble responsibly.
