Football League Tips
Accrington Stanley v Plymouth Argyle - Plymouth 13/10
Argyle arrive at the Crown Ground in fantastic form. They’ve only been beaten once this season and are unbeaten since the opening day. Ryan Lowe will be aiming to put one over his old mate John Coleman and return to the top of the table with leaders Wigan having no fixture this weekend due to the International break.
Stanley are having a decent season themselves and are surpassing the pundits expectations. They currently sit 12th in the table and have won two, drawn two and lost two in their last 6 matches. They will be a tough nut to crack but given the reward on offer I'm taking Plymouth at 13/10 to finish the job. Expert frontman Ryan Hardie to be amongst the goals again.
Sheffield Wednesday v Gillingham - Sheffield Wednesday 6/10
Playoff chasing Wednesday host Gillingham on Saturday in a game they will be expected to win. They sit eleven places and nine points above the Gills and have only lost one of their last eight games in the League. The two teams have not faced each other since 2003.
The Owls are extremely strong at home and have only lost once at fortress Hillsborough. In contrast, Steve Evans’ men have only won once on the road this campaign. Top goalscorer Lee Gregory will be hoping to fire Sheffield to another home win and increase his tally of six goals for the season.
Exeter City v Oldham Athletic - Exeter 8/11
Exeter are sitting pretty in League two, currently fourth, but only a point off the automatic spots. In stark contrast Oldham lie mired in deep trouble, 22nd in the table and only out of the relegation places on goal difference. The Grecians are unbeaten at home thus far and although the Latics are a better side on their travels, City should still have too much for them here.
Exeter are on a 3 match winning run, extending their unbeaten run to 13 matches and with the combined 15-goal firepower of Matt Jay and Sam Nombe, they look a good option at 8/11.
You can combine the 3 selections above for an Acca at William Hill which pays out at 5.37/1. Remember to always bet responsibly and don’t go beyond your limits.
