Bukayo Saka netted in his last Premier League outing for Arsenal on New Year's Eve and we're tipping him to score against Crystal Palace in Saturday's 12:30pm kick-off. The North London side's star boy will no doubt feel disappointed with his league return of six goals from 19 appearances, however, he does also hold seven assists, so in terms of output he's right up there with the division's best.
Saka leads the way for goals, shots and shots on target for The Gunners this season and having netted a brace in last season's home meeting with this opposition, he is rightly identified as their danger man in this weekend's fixture.
Next up we're dabbling in the Championship and are siding with Morgan Whittaker to find the net versus Cardiff City at 3pm. The 23-year-old attacker is second to only Blackburn Rovers' Sam Szmodics in the league's goalscoring charts, holding a record of 14 in 27 since Plymouth Argyle won promotion to the second tier.
Whittaker has netted in back-to-back games against Watford and Huddersfield, notching his tally up to six from his last six outings in green and white. He's let off 108 shots this season, more than any other player in the Championship, also recording the most shots on target with 41 - seven across his last two matches and 11 in the last four outings.
There's been no clean sheet in Cardiff's last eight and for a man in fine form, in front of his home crowd, we anticipate that Whittaker can find the net at odds of 39/20.
Finally, Ivan Toney's return is capturing all of the headlines for this weekend's top flight action, with the star forward set to feature as Brentford's captain in the 5:30pm clash with Nottingham Forest. After the nature of his punishment and the build up to his first match back, it does feel destined that Toney will find the net.
Thomas Frank has neglected to share his thoughts on his striker's comments surrounding a future at Brentford, quelling any suspicions by handing him the armband. If Toney does want this high-profile move away from The Bees then he's going to have to hit the ground running.
Forest had a close scare in the FA Cup against Blackpool recently, conceding four across two ties and requiring extra time to see off their lower league opposition. Nuno's side are chasing their first clean sheet since the start of November and considering that Toney has three in three vs The Tricky Trees, we think he can breach Matt Turner's goal in the late game.
