England vs Greece Prediction, Odds and Lineups: Back this 4/1 shot at Wembley tonight
England and Greece clash at Wembley tonight in a top-of-the-table Nations League B group stage fixture, live on ITV1 at 7:45pm.
Our man Tipster Wizard brings us his best bets for the game, including a 4/1 shot from the assists market.
England vs Greece Predictions
The Three Lions have made a solid start to their Nations League campaign under Lee Carsley by winning both their games against Ireland and Finland by a two goal margin without conceding a single goal.
Harry Kane celebrated his 100th England appearance by scoring a brace against Finland and he will look to get on the scoresheet again against their top-of-the-table opponents, Greece, who sit above England on goal-difference after beating both Finland and Ireland 3-0 and 2-0 respectively.
However, three of Greece’s five goals across these two games were scored by their star striker Fotis Ioaniddis who has suffered an injury and is out of the squad for this game which is a huge blow to the visitors’ chances.
These two sides last faced each other in a friendly back in 2006 where England ran riot with a 4-0 win to make it nine games unbeaten against the visitors but looking at recent results, we could be in for a much more competitive fixture this time around.
An important Nations League clash awaits us, and I have included my two best bets for the clash in the preview below:
England vs Greece Lineups
England Starting Lineup:
Pickford, Alexander-Arnold, Stones, Colwill, Lewis, Rice, Bellingham, Saka, Palmer, Foden, Gordon.
Greece Starting Lineups:
Vlachodimos, Rota, Mavropanos, Koulierakis, Giannoulis, Siopis, Kourbelis, Masouras, Bakasetas, Tzolis, Pavlidis.
Bet Builder
- Manolis Siopis - Over 0.5 fouls committed
- Declan Rice - Over 0.5 shots
Manolis Siopis is set to start in the defensive midfield position for Greece in this tough fixture for the visitors. He committed two fouls the last time he started in this position against Ireland and will be up against the likes of Jude Bellingham, Cole Palmer, Phil Foden and Bukayo Saka so he could be forced into mistiming one of his tackles and fouling one of the England attackers. He has committed five fouls in six starts domestically and looks a solid shout for a foul.
Declan Rice is averaging 1.3 shots per game domestically for Arsenal, attempting at least one shot in five of his seven starts. For England, he has registered a shot in both of his Nations League appearances so far this season and with England expected to be on the front foot for most of the 90 minutes, he could find himself in threatening positions just outside the box for a shot.

Having registered 10 assists for club and country last season, Trent Alexander-Arnold has also given three assists in his last seven appearances so far this season.
He assisted Harry Kane’s opener against Finland last time out and his fantastic crosses into the box will be a huge threat for Greece again.
He loves bombing forward down the right flank and will be on set pieces with the likes of Harry Kane, John Stones and Marc Guehi waiting in the box.
At 4/1, he looks good value for a small 0.25pt bet as our second selection for this game.
