Declan Rice Next Club Odds: Could the West Ham star be on the move this summer?

West Ham’s dynamic midfielder Declan Rice played a key role in England’s success at last summer’s European Championships and has developed into one of the most talented players in world football.
Rice is under contract with the Hammers until 2024 and the 23-year-old has seen his stock rise significantly over the last few years and with potential interest from some of the Premier League big hitters now being rumoured. We've taken a look at the odds for Declan Rice’s next permanent club and the prices quoted below are with Paddy Power. We’ve also included some of the key stats from Rice’s campaign which show how effective he has been this term.
Chelsea - 5/1
Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea are the current favourites to sign Declan Rice in the summer window, priced at 5/1. These odds imply just a 16.7% chance of this transfer coming to fruition before 3 September, however with Rice being born in Kingston upon Thames and having spent the majority of his youth career with Chelsea it’s easy to see why they are the shortest price in the betting. Roman Abramovich is never frightened to open that cheque book, especially if Chelsea ever slip too far off the pace in the Premier League and all things considered here, 5/1 looks a good price.
Manchester United - 15/2
Next in the market, we have Manchester United who are currently being offered at 15/2 to sign Rice before 3 September. The Red Devils may well look to strengthen their midfield in the summer with some fans still having questions over Scott McTominay and Fred and their ability compared to those in similar positions at rival clubs. With Donny van de Beek’s future uncertain after a loan move to Everton it would be no surprise to see them bolster their options in the centre of the park at the end of this season.
Manchester City - 15/2
Also priced at 15/2 with both Betfair and Paddy Power are Manchester City and with the riches they possess it’s no surprise to see them here in the betting for one of the best players in the land. Fernandinho will be 37 when this current campaign comes to an end and it’s likely that this will be his last season at the club as a player and with Rice having plenty of Premier League experience, they may look to fill the gap the Brazilian leaves with the transfer of the talented West Ham man.
Liverpool - 10/1
Priced at 12/1 are Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool who already have numerous options in midfield including Fabinho, Naby Keita, Curtis Jones and Jordan Henderson. With West Ham thought to be wanting around an eye-watering £100m for the Rice we cannot personally see Liverpool splashing the cash and going all out for the midfielder.
Newcastle - 14/1
Rounding off the betting are Newcastle, who after being taken over by a Saudi-based consortium a few months ago, now have money to spend. The issue for the Toon is whether or not they will be still playing top-flight football next season with them priced as short as 5/4 to be playing in the Championship in 2022/2023.

West Ham currently find themselves in fifth position in the league with Rice being pivotal in their advance up the table over the last 18 months.
