David de Gea Next Club Odds: Saudi clubs, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich linked

12 years after joining the club from Atletico Madrid, David de Gea has parted ways with Manchester United.
The Spaniard, who is the club's most capped goalie with 545 appearances, failed to agree terms on a new contract at Old Trafford.
Speculation about the 32-year-old's future grew as the season progressed, with many believing that his abilities weren't suited to Erik ten Hag's style of football.
Below we've examined the top contenders to sign the free agent this summer, along with the updated odds for each club from two of the most trusted betting sites in bet365 and BetVictor.
Any Saudi Arabian Club
The market at BetVictor currently offers even money on DDG to make the Saudi switch. If completed, he would be joining the likes of Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kante, Ruben Neves, Edouard Mendy, Marcelo Brozovic and Kalidou Koulibaly out in the Middle East.
Several outlets are tipping last season's Golden Glove winner to join former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Nassr. Whether that exact deal is correct or not, there are multiple different destinations for him in this league if he wishes to cash in on his own stock.
De Gea is set to bank a whopping £250,000 per week should this move happen.
Any French Club
Back in 2018 and 2021, PSG were quite heavily linked to David de Gea. Although nothing concrete ever came from those previous rumoured interests, he could be on their radar again this summer as a Bosman.
A potential stumbling block may be the stiff competition faced from 24-year-old Gianluigi Donnarumma, who has locked down the position between the posts since joining from AC Milan two years ago.
If PSG don't pursue him, there are still a wealth of Ligue 1 options that could attract the Spaniard. Lens finished only a point behind the champions, Marseille will play Champions League football this term should they progress from their qualifying match, while Monaco will expect to overturn last season's disappointment during the 2023/24 campaign.
5/1 is the bar that bet365 have set for any French club to acquire the services of the former Premier League shot stopper.
Atletico Madrid
The Madrid-born stopper could viably return to his roots at Atletico Madrid this summer. The Spaniard joined the club at aged 13 and rose through the youth ranks to make 57 appearances across two years for the senior side.
De Gea was only 20-years-old when he took the plunge to join Manchester United as Edwin van der Sar's replacement back in 2011. 12 years on, he boasts 45 international caps, and could return to his former club with a host of individual and collective accolades, including a Premier League winners medal, two Premier League Golden Glove awards and five PFA Team of the Year appearances.
BV go 6/1 for Atletico Madrid to recruit their former GK and provide competition for their Slovenian no.13 Jan Oblak.
Bayern Munich
The unresolved goalkeeper situation at Bayern Munich could play into de Gea's hands when exploring his options for a new home. An injury to Manuel Neuer saw 34-year-old Swiss international Yann Sommer brought in as a temporary solution. A case of musical chairs could see him replace Andre Onana at Inter Milan, paving a clearer path for the Spaniard.
Neuer isn't getting any younger either, being three years Sommer's senior and still not having recovered from the leg injury he sustained while skiing. Whether the former Manchester United goalie fits Thomas Tuchel's remit is another question, but if there is a keeper of DDG's calibre available on a free transfer, you'd have to be injudicious to not consider it.
Bet365 have Bayern Munich posted as 12/1 outsiders to unveil the signing of David de Gea before the window closes on September 1st.
