Crystal Palace vs. Arsenal Predictions: Two tips for the scrap at Selhurst
Live on Sky Sports, Crystal Palace host Arsenal in this all important Premier League clash at the Selhurst Park Stadium this Monday at 8pm.
The hosts are having a solid season currently sitting in the 12th spot with 34 points going unbeaten in their last 6 games in all competitions. Patrick Vieira has done an impeccable job so far knocking out Everton from the FA Cup quarter final to book a semifinal against Chelsea at the Wembley Stadium alongside their cracking run in the Premier League. The morale is sky high after recently getting a draw against the league leaders Manchester City at home and it is hard to rule out another upset from Vieira’s men.
As for the visitors, Mikel Arteta is also doing fantastic job as he bagged another manager of the month award in March. They currently sit 5th in the league table tied on 54 points with rivals Tottenham with 2 games in hand. Having won 6 of their last 7 premier league games, Arsenal are now in the driving seat for Champions League qualification for next season and will be highly motivated to keep that winning momentum going here.
Crystal Palace v Arsenal Tips
An exciting Monday night clash awaits us and as usual, I have you covered with 2 of my best betting angles for this game included in the preview below:
Team News:
James Mcarthur & Nathan Ferguson are out for Crystal Palace while Wilfried Zaha, Joel Ward & Michael Olise are doubtful.
Bukayo Saka, Tomiyasu & Aaron Ramsdale are doubtful for Arsenal.
Crystal Palace possible starting lineup:
Guaita; Clyne, Andersen, Guehi, Mitchell; Gallagher, Kouyate, Hughes; Eze, Mateta, Edouard
Arsenal possible starting lineup:
Leno; Cedric, White, Gabriel, Tierney; Xhaka, Partey; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Lacazette
Crystal Palace have scored at-least 1 goal in their last 12 out of 14 home games. They have been in splendid form recently also beating Everton 4-0 in the FA Cup quarter final at this venue.
As for the visitors Arsenal, they have been in form form as well scoring in and winning their last 6 out of 7 premier league games. This bet has landed in these teams’ last 8 out of 9 head to head meetings including the reverse leg which finished 2-2. I see good value in both teams to find the back of the net @ 9/10 and we will back that as our 1pt bet for this clash.
I expect Conor Gallagher to be heavily involved in this one. He is Palace’s most booked player with 8 yellow cards including bookings in both of his last 2 Premier League games. He also averages 1.7 shots per game for Palace per game and loves a pop at goal from distance. He had 2 shots on target in the reverse leg at the Emirates and I can see him getting at least 1 here too. Combining these 2 selections gives us an attractive double @ 9/2 and I am happy to stake a very small 0.25pt stake on that as our 2nd bet for this Monday night Premier League clash.
Best of luck if you follow these selections. Please always gamble responsibly.
