Cristiano Ronaldo Next Club Odds: Could CR7 be on the move this summer?

Doubts are continuing to grow around the future of Cristiano Ronaldo after the Manchester United striker failed to turn up for training at Carrington this morning. The club say that family reasons have been cited, but with the rest of the international players returning today, speculation is rife over a potential move away from Old Trafford for the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
It has been reported that Ronaldo had asked United if he could leave this summer should they receive a fair offer for him in this window. The Portuguese forward is wanting to play Champions League football next season and here at BettingOdds.com, we’ve taken a look at his next club odds.

Bayern Munich - 9/4
Over the weekend well-placed sources have said that Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes had spoken with Bayern Munich and they are currently the favorites with Paddy Power at 9/4 in the betting. Those odds imply a 31% chance that this transfer will come to fruition in this window, and with Robert Lewandowski currently priced at 2/9 to swap Bayern for Barcelona, the German jugganauts may well be in the market for a striker.
Chelsea 7/2
Another club who have been linked with Ronaldo is Chelsea, who can be backed at 7/2 for the 37-year-old to make the switch to Stamford Bridge before the end of the summer. New Chelsea owner Todd Boehly has vowed to bring success to the club and last week the Athletic reported that he had held a meeting with Jorge Mendes in Portugal and the idea of bringing Ronaldo to the Bridge had been discussed.
Roma - 6/1
Next in the market are Roma at 6/1 with Paddy Power. Jose Mourinho guided the Italian side to their first ever European trophy last season albeit a Europa Conference League title. Mourinho previously worked with Ronaldo during his stint in Spain with Real Madrid ten years ago, but with the striker supposedly wanting Champions League football next season, 6/1 does look a bit short.
Real Madrid - 8/1
The Spanish capital is a place that holds many happy memories for Ronaldo, having lifted four Champions League titles with Los Blancos. Real cantered to another La Liga triumph last term and once again proved their worth on the biggest stage of all defeating Liverpool in the Champions League final to give them their fourteenth European cup. 8/1 is available with Paddy Power, although it may be worth shopping around if wanting to back Madrid to make the signing, with 16/1 on show at the time of writing with Unibet.
PSG - 12/1
With Ronaldo currently earning £500,000 a week at Manchester United, there are not too many realistic takers who would be able to afford his gargantuan wages. One club who do have the reddies available is Paris Saint-Germain who can be taken at 12/1 to sign Ronaldo before September 3 2022. The thought of Ronaldo in a front-three that includes Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe is a rather crazy one, but one that would get the interest of any football fan across the world.
Others / To Stay at United
Having a look at the rest of the sides in the market and another former side of Ronaldo’s, Sporting Lisbon, can be backed at 14/1 for him to return to his homeland. Juventus can also be taken at 14’s, while Manchester City and Inter Milan round off the betting at 22/1.
For those who think Ronaldo will stay put and be playing his football at Old Trafford next season, even money is available (1/1) with Stoke-based bookmaker bet365. Please remember that transfer odds can often be influenced by rumours and relatively small amounts of money coming into the market, so please gamble responsibly.
