When Is It?

McGregor revealed that 29th June is the date for his return following over two years on the sidelines with a devastating broken leg against Dustin Poirier in July 2021.

The UFC's International Fight Week has been brought forward slightly this year from its usual July date for McGregor's homecoming.

Where Is It?

Las Vegas's T-Mobile Arena will be the venue to house Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler's scrap, with a potential capacity of 20,000 available for boxing and MMA events.

Dana White and any other UFC representative are yet to formalise the numbered event which McGregor and Chandler will headline.

Who Is Michael Chandler?

Lightweight contender Chandler, like McGregor, comes into this contest on the back of a loss to Dustin Poirier. As shared in his New Year's Day post, the fight could well contested at 185lbs - a weight neither has fought at before in their career.

Before joining the UFC, Chandler plied his trade in rival organisation Bellator, where he was a three-time champion, also winning the Season Four Lightweight Championship. This bout was originally set up by the pair's participation as coaches in last year's The Ultimate Fighter.

What Are the Odds?

Shortly after McGregor's announcement, odds were made once again for this anticipated bout. Originally while participating in TUF 31, McGregor was made the slight 10/11 favourite. The Irishman has seen his price shorten further this time, positioned at 4/5 to win his first fight for over two years.

In turn, that has seen Michael Chandler's odds shift too, with the 37-year-old American now a 1/1 underdog - a minor decrease on the 11/10 being initially offered in 2023.
