Chelsea vs. Brighton Betting Tips: Visitors a big price for the win at Stamford Bridge

We have an all Premier League affair on Wednesday evening in the League Cup third round as Chelsea take on Brighton at Stamford Bridge. We’ve made a case for two tips for the game which you can read all about below.
Chelsea vs Brighton Tips
The last time Chelsea managed to find the back of the net was in August when they faced AFC Wimbledon in the second round of the League Cup. Since then the Blues have been beaten at home by both Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa, as well as a goalless draw on the south coast with Bournemouth.
It doesn’t take a genius to work out that things are not exactly healthy at Stamford Bridge at the moment and we like the look of Brighton to win the match inside 90 minutes, with 19/10 on show with Unibet.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men have really struggled for goals so far this term, with only newly promoted Luton and Burnley have scored fewer since the start of the new campaign.
Brighton on the other hand are flying high in third in the Premier League table and have scored at least two goals in all of their last three meetings with Chelsea. The Seagulls have scored in every match so far this season and have collected an impressive 15 points so far from a possible 18. All things considered, and even with both managers set to make changes for this cup clash, there is a serious case to be made that the visitors should be the favourites here.
Ansu Fati could well be handed his second start for Brighton with Julio Enciso still on the treatment table. The 20-year-old made his full debut in the Europa League game against AEK Athens last week, before being brought on as a substitute at the weekend against Bournemouth where he made an immediate impact, injecting some pace and attacking flair to the game.
The Barcelona loanee has only played 71 minutes of top-flight football since his arrival at Brighton but has let off four shots. The youngster looks to be settling in well to his new surroundings and with Chelsea looking woeful in recent weeks it would be no surprise to see him grab his first goal for his new employers on Wednesday. Several betting sites have Fati priced around 2/1 to score in this match, so we are recommending the top-price offering of 3/1 with bet365.
