Celtic vs. Atletico Madrid Betting Tips: 11/8 and 20/1 picks for Champions League meeting

Celtic look to align their European aspirations with the club's domestic success when Atletico Madrid make the trip to Glasgow on Wednesday for the pair's latest Champions League fixture.

Celtic maintained their seven point gap at the peak of the SPL table with another pasting over the weekend, however, it's time that Brendan Rodgers' side had their European performance match their domestic dominance. The Bhoys have been handed two straight losses in the Champions League by Feyenoord and Lazio, leaving their premier European competition status in jeopardy.

In Atletico Madrid's case they've had an acceptable start in both La Liga and the Champions League. Diego Simeone's side were frustratingly held to a score draw on match day 1 with Lazio before edging out Feyenoord at the start of the month. Another win for the Indios could help them cut away from 2nd placed Lazio in Group E.

Celtic's next big money star Matt O'Riley has had a whirlwind of a start to this latest campaign.
