Burton vs. Cambridge Betting Tips: Back The Brewers to continue unbeaten run

The International break may be upon us but there is live League One action on Sky Sports this Monday evening as Burton take on Cambridge at the Pirelli Stadium. Read below about our two tips for the game including a 10/3 poke from the ‘to be carded’ market.

Significant money has come for Burton in the match result market over the last 24 hours with the Brewers being backed in from just north of 6/4 into 13/10 with most betting sites. We think this shift in the odds is quite telling and we are getting behind the hosts to collect the three points on Monday as our main play of the evening.

Cambridge on the other hand have been moving in the opposite direction in recent weeks and they are now winless in their last five matches. The last time Cambridge were in action in League One they were given a 4-0 hammering by Barnsley. They have scored just one goal in their last four away matches across all competitions, which was a penalty in the defeat against Wigan. Cambridge sit 15th in the standings and with no team above them having scored fewer goals and we think the hosts can come out on top based on their recent form.

We’re also recommending a small punt on Cambridge’s Michael Morrison to pick up a card from referee Ben Speedie. In his final full season with Reading, the central defender was shown eight yellows in 33 appearances. This term, Morrison has been following a similar path and has been booked in three of his last six for the League One side.
