BTTS Accumulator Tips: 13/2 acca for Saturday 31st August 2024
Saturday will provide us with our last hefty fixture list from England’s top four leagues before the first international break of the season.
International fixtures are regularly drab affairs, meaning it could pay to make the most of the five 3pm Premier League, as well as the 26 in the EFL, to build a tasty looking both teams to score acca before the goals dry up.
We have picked out four matches - one from each of England’s top four leagues - which appeal from a BTTS perspective, combining for a scintillating 13/2 four-fold.

Nottingham Forest vs Wolves
Gary O’Neil will be looking for an instant reaction from his side following their 6-2 thrashing at home to Chelsea last Sunday and they are sure to go on the frontfoot at the City Ground on Saturday.
Wanderers did rack up a decent expected goals figure of 2.16 against the Blues, suggesting they do have some solid attacking talent, and could play their part in an exciting clash in Nottingham.
Forest were unlucky to score just one when beating Southampton last Saturday, racking up 2.14 expected goals in that fixture, so with plenty of attacking threat on both sides, plus the fact both teams scored in the last four meetings between the pair, this match appeals as the first leg of our four-fold.
Derby vs Bristol City
The Rams have struggled to adjust to Championship life after a couple of seasons away, losing two of their three matches, and were knocked out of the League Cup by League Two Barrow on Tuesday.
They have, however, been scoring goals. Derby have netted five in their three Championship games and could net against Bristol City, who shipped three against Millwall two weeks ago.
Both teams to score has been a winning bet in all three of the Robins’ league games this term and could land again at Pride Park.
Crawley vs Barnsley
Just two points and one place separate Crawley and Barnsley in the League One table, suggesting we could be in for a close match at the Broadfield Stadium this Saturday.
Both teams have scored in all three of the hosts’ home matches this term, with a total 13 goals netted across those games, suggesting their strengths lie in attack and weaknesses in defence and the nets can bulge with frequency in West Sussex this weekend.
Similarly, Barnsley’s last 13 away matches have seen both sides find the net, making this League One clash a must for our acca.
Accrington vs Colchester
Danny Cowley was once a master of managing defences, leading then semi-pro side Braintree to a record of 20 clean sheets in 46 National League matches in the 2015-16 season, however, he seems to have lost his touch in that regard of late.
Colchester have managed just two clean sheets in their last 21 matches and are likely to be breached by Accrington, who have netted 12 goals in their last six League Two matches.
Stanley have, however, conceded 13 times in their four matches this term, suggesting the U’s could also have some joy in front of goal at the Wham Stadium this Saturday.
