Brighton vs Chelsea Prediction: Back a tight game on the South Coat on Tuesday

Live on Sky Sports, Brighton host Chelsea in the Premier League this Tuesday night at the Amex Stadium at 8pm. The hosts come into this game off the back of yet another draw against rivals Crystal Palace. They have now drawn the most number of matches in the league (10) but are a tough side to beat having lost just 4 games all season. Graham Potter’s side will be full of confidence going into this game against Chelsea as they have only lost once in their last 5 head to head meetings against the blues and Thomas Tuchel’s side are coming into this game having won just one out of their last 6 Premier League fixtures.
Brighton vs Chelsea Tips:
Morale in the visitors’ camp is certainly low at the moment with questions around their mega-signing Romelu Lukaku’s recent performances since his controversial interview. Tuchel will be looking for a strong response from his men and this is another tricky away fixture where maximum concentration will be required. The blues will take confidence from the fact that they have the second best away record in the league with 23 points in 11 matches but will be aware that Brighton is never an easy place to visit. The teams under them have games in hand and if Chelsea don’t get their consistency back, they could be dragged into a top 4 battle.
An exciting Tuesday night clash awaits us and as usual, I have you covered with 2 of my best betting angles for this game included in the preview below:

Sanchez; Lamptey, Webster, Burn, Cucurella; Gross, Lallana, Moder, Mac Allister; Trossard, Maupay

Brighton vs Chelsea Odds
Brighton have seen under 2.5 goals in their last 9 out of 10 premier league games. They are defensively solid but lack firepower upfront and same is the case for Chelsea at the moment who have seen under 2.5 goals in 4 out of their last 5 away games in all competitions. Two defensively solid sides will go up against each other and it is hard to see a goal fest here. There have been under 2.5 goals in their last 5 out of 6 head to head meetings and I am banking on another low scoring encounter. Take the unders @ 3/4 with a 1pt stake as our main bet for this Tuesday night clash.
Marcos Alonso is Chelsea’s most booked player with 5 yellow cards to his name. He was booked in his last outing for the blues at the Etihad and could struggle against the pace of Lamptey and be forced into bringing him down. Adam Webster averages the most fouls in the Brighton team and has been booked 4 times so far this season including 2 bookings in his last 3 Premier League games. Kevin Friend will be in charge of this game and he has been the most card happy ref in the league so far averaging 6 cards per game. Combining these 2 player bookings gives us a huge long-shot double @ 18/1 and I am happy to have a very small 0.25pt stake on that.
Best of luck if you follow these selections. Please always gamble responsibly.
