Brentford vs Watford Odds: Emmanuel Dennis to cause havoc on Friday Night

Friday Night Football sees an intriguing clash between Brentford and Watford live on Sky Sports (8pm kick off). We've enlisted our regular tipster @JimmyThePunt to have a good look at this fixture and he's come up with three selections including a tasty looking 14/1 double.
Watford make the short trip south to west London for a game that promises to be goal-laden.
Despite the fact that the Bees look to control games, goals have been plentiful recently with the net bulging 13 times in their last four games. Their EPL games have featured three or more goals in 70% of the last ten as well.
Under Claudio Ranieri’s tutelage, which spans eight domestic matches, the Hornets have; scored 13, had 102 shots - 35 of which on target - and generated an xG of 13.17. This angle, over 2.5 goals, has landed in six of those games.
In fact, they have only failed to score in three games - Liverpool, Southampton and Arsenal - but generated a combined xG of 1.93 across those matches. I’d advise 1.5pts on this punt.
In an interview for Sky Sports, Emmanuel Dennis said growing up, he did not want to be footballer but a priest and given his form in front of goal, he not only looks like Watford’s saviour but the most likely candidate to provide a bit of honey in this battle of the hymenopterans.
Their talisman Dennis has directly contributed to six of his sides 13 goals under their new supremo, bagging four with three of which coming in his last four appearances.
This season, he has averaged 2.50 shots per 90 with nearly 54% hitting the target and a staggering 38% of those SoT’s hitting the back of the net. Clinical.
With hosts Brentford only keeping one clean sheet in their last ten games, I fancy Watford to get chances here. I’ll be having a point on this.
Finally, if you are after something with a bit more juice, you can combine a Dennis goal with a card at 14/1 with Betfair.
With as many cards as he has goals (6), the Nigerian talisman is not only Watford’s top goalscorer but he’s their all round filthiest player. Box office.
With this bet landing in two of his last six league starts I think it’s worth half a point here.
Best of luck if you are backing any of these selections and please remember to gamble responsibly.
