Bournemouth vs. West Ham Betting Tips: Cherries can take another step to survival

Bournemouth take on West Ham in the Premier League on Sunday and here at BettingOdds.com we’ve previewed the game and provided you with our two best bets which we think represent value from the betting markets.
Heading into the weekend, Bournemouth sit 14th in the league standings with 33 points after 31 matches. That puts The Cherries six points above the relegation after some impressive results in recent weeks and another victory here would all but confirm their place in the top-flight for next season.
West Ham find themselves two points and one place behind Bournemouth in the Premier League table. David Moyes’ men advanced to the quarter-finals of the Europa Conference League on Thursday evening. A 4-1 victory over Gent secured their place in the final-four and they are now the 7/4 favourites with some betting sites to go on to lift the trophy.
Taking a look at the match odds for this top-flight tussle on Sunday and Bournemouth can be backed at 15/8 with most firms. The draw is trading at around 11/5, while West Ham are available to be sided with at 8/5.
Bournemouth vs West Ham Tips
Gary O’Neil has done a fantastic job with Bournemouth this campaign and The Cherries are within touching distance of remaining in the division, with some bookmakers going as big as 18/1 that they are relegated back to The Championship.
That increase in price over recent weeks has been down to Bournemouth taking nine points from a possible 12 over their last four matches. That run includes three points against Fulham, an away win at Leicester, and most recently a stunning 3-2 victory at Tottenham.
Bournemouth have had considerably longer to prepare for Sunday’s meeting with West Ham and despite The Hammers improving in recent weeks with a win against Fulham before a point against Arsenal, we still think Bournemouth look a bit too big a price in some markets. West Ham have only won one of their last 12 Premier League away matches and taking Bournemouth Draw No Bet, looks a nice way in here at 21/20 with 10bet.
We’ve also picked out an 11/2 double from the player fouls market that is available with Paddy Power or the Betfair Sportsbook. Declan Rice is the first player we are targeting and have backed him to give away one or more fouls. The midfielder has done so in eight of his last nine matches on the road in the league for West Ham and looks a nice value proposition for Sunday.
Jarrod Bowen has given away three fouls in all of his last three away fixtures in the league for the East London side. At 7/2 as a single with Paddy Power, we think he is another who should be slightly shorter in the market. Pairing Bowen to give away 2+ fouls with Rice to concede 1+, pays 11/2 at the time of writing.
