Bournemouth vs Nottingham Forest Predictions, Tips and Odds: Cherries Looking For Another Home Win

While Bournemouth are on a three-game winless run in the league, they had picked up an impressive 19 points from their previous seven top-flight games and the two recent defeats came against top-four outfits in Tottenham and Liverpool.

They might have added another impressive road success at West Ham on Thursday night too, as they led early when Dominic Solanke pounced to punish an error by Kalvin Phillips, but the Hammers hit back with a second-half penalty from James Ward-Prowse.

It was a creditable point on the road, though, and Bournemouth will be aiming for three at home when they host struggling Forest.

The Midlanders have lost seven of their 11 away games in the Premier League so far and their back-to-back wins over Newcastle and Manchester United in the final days of 2023 have been followed by five games in which they have not won in 90 minutes, despite three of those contests being against EFL opponents Blackpool and Bristol City in the FA Cup.

Forest entered the weekend just two points above the relegation zone in the Premier League and while they have looked more of an attacking force in recent games, they remain extremely susceptible in defence.

The Tricky Trees have scored 15 goals in their last eight games, a sequence that began with their 3-2 defeat by Bournemouth at the City Ground in December.

A similarly high-scoring contest with the Cherries coming out on top again looks a reasonable expectation for this match. Andoni Iraolas's side can be backed at 8/11 for the home win and another bet that could pay off is to take both teams to score in a game with over 2.5 goals at 1/1.

Bournemouth have won five and drawn two of the teams last seven meetings and four of the last five have seen both teams scoring. Forest have gone 11 league games since keeping a clean sheet and their lack of defensive solidity could cost them again.
