One of four all Premier League Carabao Cup fourth round ties on Wednesday sees Bournemouth take on Liverpool on the south coast at 7:45pm.
Hot off their first league win of the season, Andoni Iraola has staved off the vultures from circling him regarding the first Premier League managerial casualty for now. The Cherries cruised past Stoke City at the Vitality in the last round of this competition and meet Liverpool for the fourth time in just over a year since returning to the English top flight.
The Reds have four wins from their last five and have gone unbeaten since their first and only defeat of the campaign in dubious circumstances away to Tottenham. Liverpool must be careful are being defeated on this ground in March, but on the flip side to that, they have already dispatched Wednesday's opponents 3-1 in the league this term.

Nunez starred in Liverpool's fifth consecutive win at Anfield on Sunday as the hosts blitzed Nottingham Forest 3-0. The Uruguayan centre forward netted his sixth goal of the campaign from 13 appearances, putting him at a goals per minute average of 105' in the Premier League in 2023/24.
Jurgen Klopp has rightly sung the praises of his striker who really appears to be coming into his own at the moment having scored four in his last seven matches across two different competitions. The EFL Cup remains the one tournament to elude Nunez since making the move to England, and he should get another opportunity to change that script from the off against Bournemouth.
Wednesday's hosts have conceded the third-highest goals tally in the Premier League this season with 21, maintaining just one clean sheet, which came in the League Cup to second tier opposition Stoke. Liverpool are the joint-second highest scorers in the division with 23, having netted a treble of those on Merseyside against this opposition in August.

Mohamed Salah has found the net in six of his 10 league matches, scoring eight goals and adding a further two across three Europa League appearances. More impressively than that, the Egyptian has a strong record against this week's opponents, having netted nine times in nine fixtures vs The Cherries. He has also won eight of the nine outings when facing Bournemouth, making this 5/1 punt a good bet for the comfortable victory we foresee Liverpool having in Wednesday's cup tie.
