Bournemouth vs. Chelsea Betting Tips: Side with Max Aarons in the fouls market
The first of two top-flight matches taking place on Sunday sees Chelsea travel to the south coast to take on Bournemouth. We’ve got Anthony Eadson in the tipping hot-seat to provide us with his best bets which includes an even money poke that has landed in all four of this players matches this term.
Bournemouth are still in pursuit of their first Premier League victory under Andoni Iraola, having amassed a mere two points from their initial four fixtures. In their most recent outing, the Cherries were twice pulled back by Brentford with Bryan Mbeumo equalising for the home team in the 93rd minute, costing them two crucial points.
Mauricio Pochettino's tenure as Chelsea's manager has got off to a mixed start, with only four points secured from their first four matches. While Chelsea have shown plenty of promise in periods of matches, they have only managed one win in their first five, with the home defeat against Nottingham Forest before the international break leaving Blues fans deflated.
Bournemouth vs Chelsea Tips
First up we are backing Max Aarons to give away one or more fouls, which I’m surprised to see is priced at even money with both Betfair and Paddy Power.
Since making the switch across the South of England from Norwich to Bournemouth, Aarons has made four appearances for his new employers. When looking at his foul totals in those fixtures he has cleared the 1+ line in each of those.
I’ve also had a few quid on the Bet Builder double of Max Aarons and Ben Chillwell both to give away 2+ fouls at 15/1. I fancy a really good battle on that side of the pitch between these two and I think it’s worth mentioning that Max Aarons picked up a healthy ten yellow cards last season in the Championship.
Aarons also surprisingly ranks third in the entire Premier League this season for fouls drawn this season having been felled on 12 occasions. Only Bruno Guimaraes (13) and Jordan Ayew (15) have won more fouls for their side this season and with Chilwell having already given away one in each of his first four matches this term I think there is scope to give away a couple.
