Borussia Dortmund vs Besiktas Odds: Larin to continue booking streak

This week sees the final round of Champions League group fixtures play out, with plenty at stake for a number of teams involved. There are still ramifications that could lead to some heavy hitters failing to make it to the knockout stages, as well as top spot being available in a couple of groups.
Here the focus is on Borussia Dortmund vs Besiktas which for all intents and purposes is a "nothing" game but that makes it all the more possible to find potential value in the betting markets.
No matter the result, Dortmund will finish third and enter this season's Europa League where they will be immediately become one of the favourites to win that competition. As for Besiktas, a small amount of pride is on the line as a defeat could cause them to become the only team from this year's tournament to exit without collecting a single point.
In the opening match week when these two faced one another, the German side came out as 2-1 victors in Turkey, thanks to first half goals from young stars Jude Bellingham and Erling Haaland.
Dortmund vs Besiktas Tips
Even despite a number of potential rotations, Dortmund's squad depth shouldn't see them troubled too heavily here. Besiktas are suffering through a rather torrid time in both Europe and domestically, sitting 9th in the Turkish Superliga.
Dortmund managed two goals in their opening tie against Tuesday's opposition and with the home advantage in this reverse fixture, coupled with Besiktas' terrible UCL campaign, they should make light work of the task.
The Bundesliga outfit have scored 35 goals in their domestic league - second to only league leaders Bayern Munich. Besiktas, on the other hand, only have three goals to their name in this year's European campaign, failing to net once in their two previous away ties in the competition.
BVB have won by a margin of 2+ goals in eight of their victories across all competitions this season and although BTTS landed in that Champions League opener between the pair in September, they come into this one off the back of a frustrating result at the weekend vs Bayern Munich and will be keen to make amends.
Cyle Larin is the man we're fancying for a card in this one. The Canadian has found himself booked on four of his 12 starts across the league and Europe for the Turkish club this season. These are also backed up by the numbers which show that no Besiktas player has committed more fouls than him in their 21/22 UCL campaign.
On average, he is giving away 1.4 fouls per game for his club. Maybe more notably, Larin is coming into this one on the back of a booking on Friday vs Trabzonspor, as well as having picked up a caution during his last outing in the competition against Ajax.
It's not out of the realms of possibility that he finds himself having not much of an impact on the game and his temper gets the better of him, resulting in a third Champions League booking for the 26-year-old.
