Bodo/Glimt vs. Arsenal Betting Tips: Eddie Nketiah to star again

Arsenal will be looking to extend their lead at the top of Group A when they play the return fixture against Bodo/Glimt on Thursday night.
The Gunners are two wins from two Europa League group stage games so far, which includes last week’s comfortable 3-0 win over Bodo/Glimt at the Emirates thanks to goals from Eddie Nketiah, Rob Holding, and Fabio Vieira.
Below we pick out two bets and preview the duel in Norway which takes place at 5.45pm on BT Sport 2...
Bodo/Glimt vs Arsenal Tips
Arsenal’s record in all competitions this season now stands at 10 wins from 11 matches. They’ve won the last five on the spin, scoring three goals in each of the last four, including the 3-2 win over Liverpool.
With six points on the board, Arsenal have set the pace in Group A, although they can’t afford to take their foot off the gas with both PSV and Bodo/Glimt in hot pursuit with four points apiece.
Bodo/Glimt disappointed in London last week, but back on home soil they will be a different proposition. Kjetil Knutsen’s side have only lost twice in 39 matches in front of their own fans dating back to July 2021.
Remarkably, they've won their last 14 home matches in Europe - twice beating Jose Mourinho’s Roma 6-1 and 2-1 - which includes five wins this season.
Still, Bodo/Glimt face a tough task to keep that winning streak running at 6/1, with a draw priced at 19/5, while Arsenal are odds-on at 1/2 to make it three wins out of three in this season’s competition.
Europa Nights are Eddie Nketiah Nights! You know the drill by now. The Arsenal striker has scored in both Europa League matches so far, and in his last four group stage games in the competition, stretching back to last season.
We’ve successfully backed Nketiah to score in both games so far and will again go down that fruitful route at 11/10 with bet365.
With doubts surrounding the fitness of Gabriel Jesus - who reportedly missed training on Wednesday morning - Nketiah could have the perfect opportunity to put himself into contention for a Premier League start away to Leeds this weekend.
We now have an 8/1 bet, courtesy of bet365’s BetBuilder.
First off, we start with Both Teams to Score (7/10) which has landed in each of Bodo/Glimt’s last five home games, and in five of Arsenal’s last six away games in Europe.
We also need Eddie Nketiah to have over 1.5 shots on target (11/10), which landed in Arsenal’s game away to Zurich, and came close to coming in against Bodo/Glimt last week (he had one SOT from four shots).
To round the price up to 8/1, we’re also asking Bodo/Glimt striker Amahl Pellegrino to have over 1.5 shots on target. He’s been in electric form since April, bagging 25 goals in all competitions, 15 of which have come on home soil. He looked threatening at the Emirates (2 shots, 1 SOT) and will surely be in the thick of Bodo/Glimt’s attacking play on Thursday.
