In total Rovers have won just one of their last 17 league matches. John Eustace’s side sit just three points above the relegation zone and still have to play all of the top-four this in their eight remaining games. We have two sides here whose form is night and day at the moment and backing the visitors at evens looks a solid prospect against a struggling Blackburn outfit.
Kieffer Moore & Sammie Szmodics both to Score
At 10/1 we are also having a few quid on both Kieffer Moore and Sammie Szmodics to find the net, again with bet365. Since making the loan move from Bournemouth to Ipswich at the start of February, Moore has put in some classy performances for Town and has already managed six goals in just 10 appearances. Away from Portman Road he has scored five goals in five league matches for Ipswich and at just north of 2/1, he looks a little too big to find the net against Rovers.
The one shining light for Blackburn this season has been Sammie Szmodics who is the Championship top scorer in 2023/24 after netting 21 goals. Szmodics is on a high now after the birth of his first child along with making his debut for the Republic of Ireland in the most recent international break. The 28-year-old has scored in three of his last four at Ewood Park despite his team's poor form and combining him and Moore to score on Friday pays 10/1.
