Birmingham To Win
Birmingham started their season with three straight victories and a five game unbeaten run, but since then have struggled to find consistency in the second-tier. We are backing Blues to get back to winning ways on Friday and have taken a little bit of the 19/20 that is available with 10bet.
John Eustace’s side have lost their last two matches, but the context of those defeats needs to be taken into consideration. Watford scored two late goals against the ten men of Birmingham to grab a 2-1 victory at Vicarage Road, before league leaders Preston came from behind to steal a tight 2-1 win on Tuesday.
Birmingham have proved this season that they are capable of challenging the sides towards the top of the table and despite two defeats on the road since the international break, they can take three points here against QPR who have only won one of their last five which came against bottom of the league Middlesbrough.
Stansfield to Score & Bielik to be carded
We’ve also had a small punt on Jay Stansfield to score and Krystian Bielik to be carded at 17/2 with either Paddy Power or Betfair.
After making the switch from Fulham to Birmingham in the most recent transfer window Jay Stansfield has made a strong start to life in the second-city. Stansfield has only made four league appearances so far, but is already the top scorer for the club this season having netted on three occasions. The 20-year old is averaging an impressive 4.2 shots per 90 minutes this term and at around 9/4, looks a generous price to score against QPR.
No player was shown more yellow cards for Birmingham in the Championship last season than Krystian Bielik, picking up 12 in total. This season he already has two to his name and combining him to pick up a card off referee Matt Donohue as well as Jay Stansfield to score pays 17/2 at the time of writing.
