Betting Stories: Wolves fan wins £3,500 thanks to last-minute goal at Molineux

Lady luck was on side for one Wolves fan this weekend, after Morgan Gibbs-White's last-minute goal at Molineux scooped him £3,500.
The Sky Bet customer backed the 50/1 special which included Wolves to win, BTTS, both teams to have 4 or more corners and both teams to get 20+ booking points (a minimum of two yellow cards each), but it looked to be dead in the water as the final whistle loomed, with all selections landing bar the hosts winning.
Lewis Dunk had initially put the Seagulls in front with just 13 minutes on the clock, heading home Pascal Gross' corner to get the game up and running, before being sent off for a drag back on Fabio Silva as the young Portuguese ran through on goal.
It took until the 76th minute for the second goal of Sunday's early kick-off to be scored, when Adama Traore played a neat one-two with Fabio Silva on the edge of the box before slotting home a cute finish to level proceedings.
Morgan Gibbs-White then missed a perfect opportunity to win the match for the hosts when he ballooned his shot over the bar from close range, only to make amends almost instantly with a magnificent curling finish inside the Brighton penalty area.
With 90 booking points amassed, largely helped by two red cards from the visitors - one of which came after the full-time whistle - and Wolves accruing 10 corners to Brighton's 5, this bet pretty much sailed in aside from the dramatic Wolves element which took until the 11th hour to be settled.
While this punter may have staked £75 on this bet to get such a big return, we would like to reiterate that you should only gamble within your means. £10 on the bet would have still pocketed you a very healthy £510!
Sky Bet booking points explained:
- 1 yellow card = 10 booking points
- 1 red card = 25 booking points
- 2 x yellow cards & a sending off = 35 booking points
