Betting Stories: Punter wins £33k from £5 on final day longshot

There we have it, then. Another season of Premier League football boxed off; a season which will go down in history books and pub quiz sheets alike thanks to 99% of it being played behind-closed-doors.
There have been plenty of highs and lows down the betting office. During our debut season of Betting Stories, we have brought you countless tales of punters winning huge amounts of money from tiny stakes, alongside some agonising near misses - after all, that's just the nature of the beast in this game, as we all know far too well.
We've arguably saved the best until last, though.
Feast your eyes on this absolute corker, won by Liverpool fan @EllisG96 on yesterday's final round of Premier League fixtures. On a day where the focus was on which of Liverpool, Leicester and Chelsea would secure Champions League football for next season, the Reds supporter witnessed his side confirm their status among Europe's elite as well as landing the accumulator of a lifetime, turning £5 into £33,548!
The William Hill customer backed wins for bottom side Sheffield United, Leeds, Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool, West Ham, Newcastle and Man City, as well as correctly forecasting Aston Villa to get the better of top-four-gunning Chelsea on home soil at 11/2.
He also fancied Tottenham to beat Leicester at the King Power, despite the north Londoners coming into the game off the back of a dismal performance and 3-1 defeat to Aston Villa in midweek. After twice falling behind, Ryan Mason's side came back to win the game 4-2.
Sensational punting, enjoy your winnings! We'll be back with more Betting Stories throughout this summer's European Championships.
