Betting Stories: Punter wins over £10,000 on correct score group bet

Sometimes, your luck's just in. This weekend, that was certainly the case for this Sky Bet customer as he scooped a gigantic £10,631 from £18 on a bizarrely random 'correct score group betting' five-fold.
The fortunate punter backed five different sides to win by a certain scoreline during Saturday's games spanning across the Premier League, Scottish Premier League, Championship and League One.
In the dazzling bet, he backed St Johnston to beat Hibernian either 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 at 5/2; QPR to beat Bristol City, and Doncaster to beat Plymouth by the same three scorelines (both at 2/1).
He also backed Championship leaders Norwich to defeat Luton either 3-0, 3-1 or 3-2 at home (4/1), and Leicester to defeat top-flight strugglers Brighton either 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 at the Amex (11/4).
With all of the games absolutely flying in with barely any issues, Saturday's late kick-off in the Premier League was the only thing standing between the punter and the bet win of a lifetime.
And the final selection got off to the worst possible start when Adam Lallana opened the scoring for the lowly Seagulls inside the opening ten minutes. With the scoreboard reading 1-0 at half-time, a miraculous turnaround was needed from the Foxes in the second half.
Indeed, when Kelechi Iheanacho levelled things just after the hour mark, hope was reinstalled. Then, with just three minutes remaining, Daniel Amartey found the back of the net to win the game for the visitors in dramatic style, making this lucky bettor a whole lot richer in the process...
