Bayern Munich vs. Borussia Dortmund Predictions: Two tips for Der Klassiker

As we come to the end of another domestic season, Bayern Munich can become the first side in Europe’s top five leagues to win 10 league titles in a row.
Bayern vs Dortmund Tips
It almost seems like deja vu these days, Bayern and Dortmund facing each other late in the campaign, with the Bavarians one win away from sealing the Bundesliga, and BVB looking to keep any faint hopes of a title alive. Der Klassiker is the most played fixture in German professional football, with Bayern having lost to Dortmund more times than any other side (32), and likewise for the visitors, having lost more games to FCB than any other team (64).
Kingsley Coman and Lucas Hernandez should return for the home side, with Marcel Sabitzer and Tanguy Nianzou expected to make way for the pair. Dortmund have a lengthy injury list, with Kobel, Hummels, Dahoud, Meunier, Morey, Schmeltzer, Reyna, Tigges and Witsel all missing out.
As ever, we’ve previewed the game, and picked out two tips that have caught our eye.
First off, I’m predicting that this game, as always, will provide some stunning moments, with both teams getting on the scoresheet. This bet has actually landed in each of the last FIVE meetings between these two sides, and with Bayern currently on a run of seven consecutive wins against Dortmund, as well as looking to seal the title, there’s no way I can look past anything other than a home win.
I was also tempted by the over 5.5 match goals (7/2 PP), but in my mind this is a good way to start us off, and Bet365 were offering the best price of 6/5, with most other bookies’ at evens.
Next up, how can we not go for Erling Haaland? With this most likely being his last Der Klassiker, Haaland will want to go out with a bang, whatever the score may be. The Norwegian has a good record against Bayern, with five goals in six games, but he’s yet to taste victory in this fixture. A price over 13/10 makes good sense to me, and we’ll be steering well away from Lewandowski, who is 2/5 to score anytime!
Despite injury concerns, Haaland has still scored 25 goals in 26 games, with a record of 18 in 20 in the Bundesliga. The man is an absolute freak of nature, and with both teams seemingly throwing any defensive structure when this game comes around, expect the big number 9 to bag again here.
Good luck if you’re following these bets, and please gamble responsibly.
