Aston Villa vs. Luton Betting Tips: 11/4 and 9/2 selections for Sunday's match

Aston Villa continue their chase for the Premier League top four when Luton Town pay a visit to Villa Park at 2pm on Sunday.
Unai Emery can guide his Aston Villa team to a 12th consecutive home league win with victory over new boys Luton on Sunday. AVFC put on a masterful display in Europe, beating AZ Alkmaar 4-1 to match last Sunday's win over West Ham to the same tune.
Despite being the best performing of the newly-promoted teams, Luton still find themselves hovering just above the drop zone by a single point. Town beat Everton four games ago to post their first victory of the season and secured a solid point against Forest at the City Ground last time out, sandwiched between consecutive defeats by Burnley and Tottenham.

Ollie Watkins talks about how he's become a more selfish player since Unai Emery entered the club, but the underlying stats may suggest otherwise. Of course his goalscoring exploits under the Spaniard have been widely publicised, however, he's now contributing for his teammates more than ever.
The 27-year-old forward had provided nine assists before Emery stepped into the hot seat, and since then Watkins has equalled that number in less than a year.
Five of those have come from his opening nine 2023/24 Premier League matches, and make up half of his attacking contributions in the league so far.
That puts Watkins in a position to match last season's tally in a third of the time. If he can set up two more goals between now and the end of the season it would mark the most effective campaign of his career in this regard.
Watkins holds 32 shot-creating actions in the English top flight during this current season, as well as 11 goal-creating actions. With a wealth of attacking options now available to Villa on the field and off the bench, Watkins is inundated with opportunities to lay up a goal for his side.
Luton are expected to switch to a back three in an attempt to repel Villa's attacking threat, but that defensive approach is likely to grant the home side's full-backs more licence to push forward.
We've already seen plenty of attacking impetus from Matty Cash down that right flank this season, with the Polish international letting 16 shots fly, eight of which have hit the target, and two resulting in a brace away at Burnley.
He's met this line in four of his last seven Premier League matches and considering the dominance Villa are expected to have over Sunday's opponents, we fancy him to find shooting opportunities here.
Carlton Morris has been The Hatters' deadliest threat, scoring three of their eight goals since promotion, while popping off 26 shots across nine matches in the top flight - the second-most of any Villa or Luton player this term.
Villa's high defensive line is likely to afford the visitors one or two chances and Morris will relish those marginal opportunities to find himself one-on-one with Martinez. He's hit the target six times since joining the Premier League ranks, with him meeting this line on three occasions from the last five.
