Arsenal vs PSG Prediction, Odds and Confirmed Team News: Back Gabriel in 17/2 fancy
Arsenal and PSG each have an early opportunity to make a statement of intent in the Champions League tonight when they lock horns at the Emirates, live on Amazon Prime at 8pm.
Tipster Wizard has provided a Bet Builder plus an anytime goalscorer fancy as his best bets for this tasty clash.
Arsenal vs PSG Predictions
The Gunners left it late against Leicester City at the weekend, scoring two injury-time goals to secure three points and go level on points with Champions Manchester City. Arteta’s men remain unbeaten in the Premier League and have drawn their only Champions League fixture against Atalanta so they will be hoping to get their first win in this competition when they come up against the unbeaten French Champions.
Luis Enrique’s troops sit top of the table in France, level on 16 points with Monaco but ahead on goal-difference, having scored a huge 20 goals and conceding just five. However, they were far from impressive in their only Champions League gameagainst Girona, claiming a narrow 1-0 win thanks to a 90th minute own goal. They will need to be at their best if they are to pull off a result against Arsenal in a packed Emirates Stadium but with their squad riddled with injuries, it could be prove to be a giant task.
A blockbuster Champions League clash awaits us, and I have included my two best bets for the clash in the preview below:
Arsenal vs PSG Team News
Arsenal Starting XI:
Raya, Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori, Saka, Partey, Rice, Martinelli, Havertz, Trossard.
PSG Starting XI:
Donnarumma, Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Nuno Mendes, Zaire Emery, Vitinha, Neves, Doue, Lee, Barcola.
Bet Builder Selections
- Bukayo Saka Over 1.5 shots
- Bradley Barcola Over 0.5 shots
- Kai Havertz Over 0.5 fouls committed
Bukayo Saka is averaging three shots per game in the league so far this season. He has had a massive 16 shots in his three home games in the Premier League, averaging over five shots per home game. He will be one of Arsenal’s biggest attacking threats and will also be taking free kicks from the right side which bodes well for this selection. He also hit 2+ shots in the Champions League meeting against Atalanta earlier this season and I expect him to comfortably clear this line at the Emirates Stadium in a must win Champions League clash.
Bradley Barcola is having a sensational season for PSG with six goals scored in just five league appearances. He has filled Mbappe’s boots brilliantly so far, averaging 2.8 shots per game in the league and with PSG suffering from an injury crisis, Barcola will be at the end of every PSG attack and should play close to the full 90 minutes, which is great for this selection.
Kai Havertz is averaging 1.8 fouls per game in the Premier League, with 11 fouls committed in just six league games. He committed three fouls in the Champions League meeting against Atalanta earlier this season and is always eager to win the ball back for his team, which leads to fouls. This bet has landed in all seven of his games in all competitions so far this season and I expect that trend to continue.

Arsenal have scored a massive 25 goals from set-pieces since the start of last season, with 19 coming from corners which is the most of any side in the English top-flight and Gabriel is one of the biggest aerial threats from them having already scored two crucial goals against Tottenham and Manchester City.
Without a specialist set-pieces coach, PSG have been vulnerable from dead balls this season and Arsenal will look to capitalise on this weakness with Gabriel being a major threat from every set-piece.
At 17/2, Gabriel is a big price to get on the scoresheet so we will take it with a small 0.25pt stake as our second bet for this game.
