Arsenal vs. Tottenham Betting Tips: Odegaard to find the net in North London derby

Arsenal will be looking to continue their streak of supremacy against arch-rivals Tottenham in a blockbuster Premier League North London derby this Sunday at the Emirates Stadium. Tipster Wizard returns with his best bets which you can read all about below.

The Gunners sit fourth in the league table with 13 points, just behind Tottenham and Liverpool who are both ahead on goal difference. It has been an identical start to the season for both Arsenal and Tottenham as they are yet to lose a game this season having won four and drawn one of their league games so far this term.Arteta’s side also eased past PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League on Wednesday while Tottenham had a full week’s rest ahead of this game. 

Tottenham come into this game after an astonishing comeback against Sheffield United last week with Richarlison scoring a 98th minute equaliser and Kulusevski hammering home a 100th minute winner. Those goals also mean that Tottenham kept their streak of scoring at least twice in every Premier League game under new coach Postecoglou. 

Arsenal have been dominant in this fixture in recent seasons, having beaten their rivals in their last three consecutive meetings at the Emirates stadium, but Tottenham have scored in every one of those defeats. 

Considering the form of both sides, we could be in for a mouth-watering North London derby which is expected to be extremely competitive. I have included two of my best bets for you below:

Martin Odegaard averages the most shots per game for Arsenal in the Premier League this season (3.2) and has had at least two shots in every top-flight game so far this season (5/5). In his last three meetings against Tottenham, he has had 3, 3 and 4 shots. 

As for Yves Bissouma, he averages the most tackles per game for Tottenham in this campaign (3.4) and has registered the third most tackles overall in the league (17) in five games. 

Combining these two selections gives us a solid bet builder @ 3/4 and we will be taking that as our main bet for this massive North London Derby.

Martin Odegaard has been in supreme goalscoring form in recent weeks, having bagged four goals in his last seven appearances for club and country. He is also Arsenal’s joint-top scorer in the league and scored in his last appearance against Tottenham back in January. 

Yves Bissouma averages the most tackles (3.4) and interceptions (2.4) per game for Tottenham and is also Tottenham’s joint-most booked player with two yellow cards in five appearances in 2023/24. Combining these two selections gives us a cracking longshot double @ 77/10 and I am happy to take that as our second bet for this game with a small 0.25pt stake.
