Arsenal vs. Leicester Betting Tips: Maddison shot prices take aim on Saturday

Arsenal vs Leicester Odds
Was last Friday's 2-0 win over Crystal Palace the evolution of a more fully-formed version of the Arsenal project Arsenal taking shape or are the Gooners merely a bad defeat away from the wheels falling off the Arteta wagon? The answer lies somewhere in the middle.
The North London outfit dazzled in the opening 45 minutes at Selhurst Park in the Premier League curtain raiser at Selhurst Park, but it was their second half performance that righlty gained them plaudits.
Arteta's young guns did what they so often failed to last term in weathering the storm and standing tall under pressure instead of wilting against their opposition the moment the going gets tough.
Leicester will provide a different kind of test for them on Saturday and our match preview has delved into two specific bets which we have identified as offering value in the 3pm kick-off.
Arsenal vs Leicester Tips
9After a fairly complimentary introduction, it's a Leicester player whose prices in a couple of prop markets are too good to ignore.
Conversations about James Maddison often revolve around the 25-year-old's absence from the England picture. But while many point to the breadth of talent in justifying Southgate's overlooking of the Foxes creative spark, it's easy to underplay just how exceptional of a player he really is.
JM's 20 Premier League goal contributions (12 goals and 8 assists) were only bettered by seven other players last season; four of whom were English in Harry Kane, Jarrod Bowen and Mason Mount.
His price to have two or more shots at the Emirates on Saturday looks abnormally large even to the layman, before digging deeper into the stats and identifying just how much value is on offer.
2+ shots is the pick and the numbers support it in just about every way possible. Averaging 2.1 shots per game across the 21/22 season is certainly a good way to start, with him also topping the charts in the shots department among his teammates with 72 from 35 appearances.
The Coventry-born youth product saw this exact bet land in 21 of his 36 PL outings in Leicester blue from all of last term's fixtures to and including last weekend's opener at home to Brentford. Its 58% success rate means the bet should be around the 8/11 mark, so Bet365 are going big at 11/10 here; especially with him priced so appropriately at 8/13 to meet the same line elsewhere.
Throw in him popping off a whopping six shots in Leicester's season opener last Sunday - the most of any player during Gameweek 1 in the English top flight - and the appeal is immense.
After such depth on Maddison in the previous bet, you might have suspected we were going to dabble once again on him. This time it's for the straight-shooter to have 1+ shots on target when he rolls into the country's capital for the 3pm kick-off.
He not only registered the most SOT of any Leicester player last season with 34, but also stood tall in joint-6th among the Premier League rankings in this category, with only Mohamed Salah, Harry Kane, Heung-min Son, Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane producing a higher figure.
Better yet, the Leicester man has seen at least one shot on target land in each of his last seven matches, including the Brentford 22/23 opener.
Both of these selections landed in one of Leicester's two meetings with Arsenal last term, and given the 5/6 disparity being offered by PP, this feels too good to miss out on.
