Arsenal vs. Chelsea Betting Tips: Best bets for capital clash

Arsenal can return to the top of the Premier League if they beat a hopelessly out-of-form Chelsea at the Emirates on Tuesday night, live on Sky Sports at 8pm.
Tipster Wizard has previewed the capital clash and provided his two best bets for the action...
After spending almost the whole of the season at the top of the Premier League table, Arsenal now sit 2nd with an extra game played as their poor run of form continued against Manchester City who hammered them 4-1.
It is now four games without a win for Mikel Arteta’s men as the Premier League title looks to be slipping out of their hands.
The target from here on would be to win the last five games and hope Manchester City drop points, which does look unlikely but stranger things have happened in this sport in the past.
As for the visitors, it has been an abysmal season, as they sit 12th in the league table and are already under their third manager: caretaker boss Frank Lampard.
Since his appointment, the Blues have played five games and lost all five, conceding nine goals and scoring just one.
It is now eight games without a win for Chelsea and getting a result at the Emirates Stadium will be a huge task in their current form, despite Arsenal not firing at the moment.
It was a 1-0 win for The Gunners back in November at Stamford Bridge as they outclassed Chelsea and they will surely be looking to do a double over their London rivals to keep their hopes of a title challenge alive.
A massive London Derby awaits us and as usual, I have you covered with two of my best betting angles included in the preview below:
Team News:
Tomiyasu, Elneny & Saliba are out for Arsenal.
Reece James, Mount, Broja, Koulibaly & Cucurella are out for Chelsea while Kai Havertz is doubtful.
Arsenal possible starting lineup:
Ramsdale; White, Holding, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Xhaka, Partey; Saka, Odegaard, Trossard; Jesus
Chelsea possible starting lineup:
Kepa; Chalobah, Silva, Fofana, Chilwell; Fernandez, Kante, Gallagher; Felix, Havertz, Sterling
Arsenal vs Chelsea Tips
Betbuilder:
- Over 0 goals in the 2nd half for Arsenal
- Over 11.5 shots in the match for Arsenal
- Over 0 cards in the match for Chelsea
- Over 0 corners in the 1st half for Arsenal
Arsenal have scored a massive 12 goals in the second-half of their last five Premier League games at the Emirates Stadium.
In recent weeks, Arsenal have developed a trend of starting off slow in the first-half and then going full throttle in the final 45 minutes.
Backing the same trend here, I expect Chelsea to try and keep it tight in the first-half but eventually Arsenal’s quality should be able to breach their defence so a second-half Arsenal goal looks like a solid selection to include.
As for the shots, Arsenal are averaging 19.4 shots per game at home in the league and also registered 14 shots against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge earlier this season.
Chelsea have picked up at least one yellow card in 14 of their 15 away games this season and another yellow card for the visitors inside 90 minutes should be a banker here.
Finally, Arsenal average seven corners per game at home in the league and I expect them to come out with attacking intent from the first minute which should see them get at least one first-half corner comfortably.
Combining these four selections gives us a solid betbuilder and I am happy to stake 1pt on that as our main bet for this game.
Martin Odegaard is having a fantastic season for Arsenal and is currently their third top goalscorer with 12 goals.
Having scored two goals in his last three appearances, he is one of their biggest attacking threats, and a price of 11/4 is just too big for him to score against a Chelsea side that are going through their worst phase of the season and leaking goals for fun.
Add to that their goalkeeper Kepa is vulnerable to shots from outside the box and it makes perfect sense to get behind Odegaard finding the back of the net.
I'm happy to take this with a small 0.25pt stake as our second selection for this London Derby.
