Algeria vs Sierra Leone Odds: Mahrez and co to smash the Leone Stars

Tuesday sees an early afternoon kick off in the Africa Cup of Nations Group E between the current holders Algeria and rank outsiders Sierra Leone in a match that looks a bit of a mismatch. We've asked OddsTerrier to pick out two bets for your perusal.
Algeria are huge favourites for this one! - they are best priced at 1/10 on, while the Leone Stars are a whopping 55/1. The draw is generally available at about 9/1 if you fancy the Fennec Foxes to slip up here.
Algeria of course have their captain Riyad Mahrez starting here but it's expected that Said Benrahma and Islam Slimani may feature from the bench.
For Sierra Leone there should be starts for QPR's Osman Kakay as well as ex Spurs man Steven Caulker. Their main threat comes from forward Kei Kamara - one of five players named Kamara in their 28 man squad.
Algeria vs Sierra Leone Tips
First up we have a match handicap bet. For anyone unfamiliar with this type of bet its fairly simple. Algeria -2 means they start with a 2 goal deficit or Sierra Leone start with a 2 goal lead. If Algeria win by less than 2 goals the bet is a loser. If they win by 2 goals exactly the bet is void. If they win by more than 2 the bet is a winning one.
The odds on an Algeria (1/10) win are way too short to be getting involved with. We expect them to win this one easily against a side who are as large as 400/1 to win the tournament and therefore can add a degree of difficulty to the selection with a -2 handicap. The bet is available at 23/20 at William Hill which is the top price for this pick.
Algeria haven't lost a game since 2019 and Sierra Leone have only played two games in the last six months due to FIFA sanctions. This should be a comfortable win for Algeria and hopefully cover our handicap.
Next up we have a little anytime goalscorer double. With Slimani likely starting from the bench, the chief threats for Algeria come in the form of striker Baghdad Bounedjah and of course, their talisman Mahrez. Mahrez has 26 goals for his country and Bounedjah isn't far behind with 23. They should have a field day against a defence like Sierra Leone's and I would expect at least one and hopefully both to register a goal here.
They are a chunk over 3/1 to do so at BetVictor.
As always , if you do follow these picks good luck and bet responsibly.
