AC Milan vs Liverpool Odds: Three tips from the Wizard including a 12/1 longshot

Live on BT Sport, AC Milan host Liverpool in the Champions League group stage at the San Siro Stadium this Tuesday at 8pm. With five wins from five, the visitors come into this game with qualification and 1st place guaranteed. For the hosts, this is a must win game if they want to have any chance of qualification to the knockout stages. They currently sit 3rd in the group with four pts, tied with Atletico Madrid who are just below them in 4th. A win against Liverpool and a draw in the Porto/Atletico game would be the ideal result for them and would ensure their qualification.
However, it will not be an easy task to beat a Liverpool side full of confidence and aiming to make it six wins from six in the group stages. Klopp has admitted there will be wholesale changes to the lineup for this game but they should still not be taken lightly. Their last head to head meeting was at Anfield a few weeks ago where a full strength Liverpool came back from 2-1 down at halftime to win 3-2 in an entertaining clash. AC Milan will be hoping to put in a professional performance here and claim an all important victory against a heavily rotated Liverpool side to give them a chance of qualification. An exciting clash is expected on Tuesday night and as usual, I have you covered with 3 of my best betting angles included in the preview below.
AC Milan vs Liverpool Tips
Team News:
Ante Rebic, Simon Kjaer, Olivier Giroud, Pietro Pellegri, Davide Calabria & Samu Castillejo are all out for AC Milan.
Roberto Firmino, Harvey Elliot, Curtis Jones & James Milner are out for Liverpool while Joe Gomez, Naby Keita, Henderson, Jota & Thiago are doubtful.
AC Milan vs Liverpool Odds
AC Milan showed that they are capable of putting up a fight in the 3-2 loss at Anfield against a full strength Liverpool side. Considering Liverpool have nothing to play for and they will be heavily rotating the lineup, I have to back AC Milan to take advantage of that. This is an absolute must win for them and they are in good form having won their last two Serie A games by an aggregate score of 5-0. Even a rotated Liverpool side will give AC Milan a hard time but eventually I think the hosts should have enough to come out on top. I am happy to back AC Milan to get the win @ 21/20 with a 1pt stake as our first bet for this game.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is AC Milan’s biggest threat in the opposition’s penalty box. He is their top scorer for the season so far and his height will be an advantage for Milan from crosses and set pieces. I can definitely see him getting at least one headed shot on target and a price of 9/4 with Paddy Power is definitely backable. Take that with a small 0.5pt stake.
AC Milan have to win and Liverpool have nothing to play for. These circumstances could result in an entertaining game with both teams scoring. Both teams also scored in their last head to head game at Anfield.
Frank Kessie is averaging the most fouls for AC Milan in the Champions League so far this season. He was sent off against Atletico Madrid after picking up two yellow cards.
Considering this is a must win for the hosts, I have also gone for them to get at least five corners here. Combining these three selections gives us a cracking longshot @ 12/1 and I am happy to stake a very small 0.25pt stake on that.
Best of luck if you follow these selections. Please always gamble responsibly.
