The options are a little thinner on the ground for less popular sports, but I was nonetheless pleased to see the inclusion of niche events such as winter sports, lacrosse, and volleyball. Of particular note was the novelty and entertainment section, which is typically pretty sparse at most sportsbooks. 32Red does a great job here, with options to bet on reality TV, awards shows, and politics.

The Esports markets are worth a shoutout too, with a small but solid selection available at 32Red — CS:GO, Dota 2, League of Legends, Overwatch 2, Starcraft 2, and Valorant. This category will only continue to rise in popularity, so it’s good to see 32Red has a foot in the door already.

Design and Usability

Design and usability is another area I feel 32Red could give a little more attention. It’s certainly not bad, per se — the sportsbook platform itself is smooth and sensibly laid out. Rather, it was the navigation elements that were a bit of a hindrance. The sportsbook still feels somewhat bolted on to 32Red’s online casino, and I accidentally found myself back in the slots library on several occasions. This is my only real complaint. Browsing markets and placing bets was a smooth process free from any lag or glitches.

Unfortunately, the mobile version of the site is not quite as user-friendly. Trustly remains a popular choice for many and I expect to see it supported at pretty much every site — likewise with Paysafecard, which will suit those looking to keep their banking details off the web. I opted to use PayPal for my deposit and the process was easy and problem-free.

In terms of speeds, these methods all support instant deposits save for wire transfer, not that I can imagine many are still using that payment method these days. Trustly, PayPal, and Payz will yield the quickest payouts, but 32Red does specify a 24-hour holding period in its T&Cs.

You can also contact the team by phone between 08:00 and 00:00 CET. It’s refreshing to find a site that checks all three of these boxes when so many are moving to a chat-only support model.

One thing that did frustrate me was the hoops you have to jump through to get in contact. Rather than being sent straight to the relevant page, you’re sent to the help centre. The ‘contact us’ button is then only found once you navigate to the end of one of the FAQs. This help centre itself is a bit clunky and could certainly be more comprehensive — especially if 32Red would prefer users to find answers themselves rather than contacting support directly.
