Sheffield United vs. Tottenham Betting Tips: Son to get back on the scoresheet in FA Cup clash

Sheffield United welcome Tottenham to Bramall Lane in an FA Cup fifth round tie live on BBC1 on Wednesday evening. We’ve provided you with our two best bets for the game which you can read about below.

After scoring a late equaliser at the Racecourse Ground in the fourth round, Sheffield United needed a replay to overcome National League Wrexham. The Blades currently sit second in the Championship table and will have their sights firmly set on promotion back to the Premier League in the coming weeks. 

Spurs managed a 2-0 win over struggling Chelsea on Sunday, which has now seen them open up a four point gap between themselves in fourth and Newcastle in fifth. The teams behind them do have games in hand but there’s no denying that Antonio Conte’s squad should have more than enough to see themselves through to the quarter-finals here on Wednesday and go in search of that first trophy for Spurs.

Last season, no Tottenham player committed more fouls than Harry Kane in the Premier League. This campaign, Kane has four yellows to his name in the league, but when looking at his foul figures from recent weeks, he has given away one or more in eight of his last nine appearances for Spurs.

Another forward who we’ll be hoping gives away a foul is Sheffield United’s Iliman Ndiaye. The 22-year-old has cleared the Over 0.5 fouls line in all 10 of his most recent starts for Paul Heckingbottom’s side and should be well up for this one in front of a lively Blades crowd.

Over the last few weeks Sonny has mainly found himself on the substitutes bench for Spurs and has been nowhere near the heights he hit last season when winning the Premier League top scorer award. In both the third and fourth round of this competition Bogle was cautioned and in the Championship this term he has collected five in just 11 appearances. With a total of seven yellows in just 13 appearances in all competitions this campaign, Bogle is a prime suspect to find his way into the book and hopefully bring home this 10/1 poke.
