Premier League Sack Race 2025/26 Odds: Ruben Amorim & Graham Potter New Favourites

Nuno Espirito Santo has become the first managerial casualty of the 2025/26 Premier League Sack Race after Nottingham Forest chose to wield the axe during September's international break, with former Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou coming in as his replacement.
Attention has already turned to who could be the next victim of the top-flight Sack Race with a few managers in particular feeling the heat.

Premier League Sack Race 2025/26 Odds: The Favourites
We've run through the top contenders to be the second exit of the season, according to the latest odds - see the full market in the odds table above.
Ruben Amorim (Man Utd): 9/4
Ruben Amorim has been installed as the joint new 9/4 favourite alongside Graham Potter.
Initially touted as the man to revitalise the club, Amorim's debut 2024/25 campaign fell far short of expectations - managing just seven wins from 27 Premier League matches, with 14 defeats, as United slumped to 15th, their worst finish since 1974/75.
After becoming the first Premier League side to sack a manager last season, parting ways with Erik ten Hag in October, United may not hesitate to make another swift change following a shaky start that included a humiliating cup exit to League Two side Grimsby.
A dramatic late 3-2 home win over Burnley may offer Amorim a brief reprieve heading into the international break, but the pressure remains firmly on with Man City at the Etihad up next.
Graham Potter (West Ham): 9/4
Graham Potter, also 9/4, has been granted some breathing space after a crucial 3-0 victory away at Nottingham Forest.
The former Chelsea and Brighton boss had come under immense pressure after a hat-trick of league and cup defeats to Sunderland, Chelsea, and Wolves, during which they leaked in 11 goals.
It's fair to say that Potter hasn’t yet made the impact many hoped for. His predecessor, Julen Lopetegui, lasted just 22 games - the shortest managerial reign in the club’s history - and Potter’s own 18-month contract suggests the board are keeping expectations measured.
If Potter's project is to gain long-term traction, he will need to give fans something to believe in, such as a clear identity, tangible progress, and results that spark real excitement - none of which have been evident so far.
While he may be safe for the moment, with the likes of Tottenham, Crystal Palace, Everton, and Arsenal to come, he's definitely one to keep an eye on.
Vitor Pereira (Wolves): 4/1
Wolves are rock-bottom of the Premier League table and the only club yet to pick up a point after three games.
The Midlands side have conceded 3+ goals in all three games and could be set to lose Jorgen Strand Larsen, which would be a huge blow having already seen Matheus Cunha depart for Man United.
With odds sliced in half from 8/1 to 4/1, Pereira will undoubtedly be looking over his shoulder.
Daniel Farke (Leeds): 15/2
Daniel Farke is available at 15/21 to be the second Premier League manager sacked.
Despite guiding Leeds to the Championship title in dramatic fashion on the final day, speculation earlier this summer suggested the club were considering a change at the top. While those rumours ultimately came to nothing, questions remain over Farke’s Premier League record.
The German has twice led Norwich to the Championship title, but his top-flight track record is very worrying: just seven wins from 52 games, with 36 defeats to his name. However, four points from three games represent a positive start to the new season, which puts them above Man City at the international break.
Scott Parker (Burnley): 15/2
Scott Parker, 15/2, was the unfortunate 'winner' of the Premier League Sack Race in 2022/23, when he was shown the door by Bournemouth after a humiliating 9-0 defeat at Anfield.
A brief and unsuccessful stint at Club Brugge followed, but Parker has since rebuilt his reputation at Burnley, leading them to a third Premier League promotion of his managerial career.
Burnley have had a respectable start with three points on the board from three games, but now face a very testing September where they lock horns with Liverpool, Nottingham Forest, and Man City.
