Premier League Sack Race 2025/26 Odds: Marco Silva & Daniel Farke top the betting

Marco Silva has had his odds slashed from 10/1 to the even-money frontrunner to become the fifth casualty of the 2025/26 Premier League Sack Race.

Silva, who has replaced Leeds boss Farke at the top of the betting, has come under pressure following a return of five defeats from his last six games, leaving his position in serious jeopardy heading into the international break.

Marco Silva, whose contract expires at the end of the season, appears to be fighting for his future at Fulham after bookmakers installed him as the new 1/1 favourite for the sack.

Fulham are 15th in the table with 11 points from 11 games. They've lost over half of these, five of which have come in their last six games.

Fulham's away form is particularly concerning with Silva's side picking up just one point from a possible 18 on their travels.

Daniel Farke (Leeds): 2/1

Daniel Farke's sack race odds were cut from 2/1 to 1/2 following Sunday’s 3-1 defeat away to Nottingham Forest, however, they have gone back to 2/1 following Silva's emergence as the new favourite.

Despite leading Leeds to the Championship title in dramatic fashion on the final day last season, rumours over his future surfaced during the summer amid reports the club were considering a managerial change.

While those whispers eventually died down, fresh doubts have emerged in recent weeks after Leeds picked up just four points from their last seven matches - a run that has left them 16th in the table, only one point clear of the relegation zone.

Bookmakers have even begun offering odds on the next Leeds manager odds, with Marco Rose, Brendan Rodgers, and Steven Gerrard among the early frontrunners.

Eddie Howe (Newcastle): 8/1

Eddie Howe has been the big mover in the market in the last week, during which his odds have been slashed from 40/1 to the 8/1 third favourite.

Inconsistency has plagued the Toon this term, with just three wins and five defeats from their opening 11 matches, leaving them 14th in the table - only two points clear of the relegation zone.

The Magpies have lost four of their last six league outings and are still searching for their first away victory of the campaign.

Scott Parker (Burnley): 12/1

Scott Parker, priced at 12/1, was the unfortunate “winner” of the Premier League Sack Race in 2022/23 after being dismissed by Bournemouth in the wake of their 9-0 hammering at Anfield.

Following a short and disappointing spell with Club Brugge, Parker has rebuilt his reputation at Burnley, guiding the club to the third Premier League promotion of his managerial career.

Burnley have shown promise at times - notably with back-to-back October victories over Leeds and Wolves - and came agonisingly close to taking points off both Liverpool and Manchester United.

However, despite those positives, only Wolves have suffered more defeats so far this season.

Arne Slot (Liverpool): 16/1

Arne Slot is now a surprise name in the top-5 of the betting.

Slot led Liverpool to the title in his first season, then oversaw five straight league wins at the start of the current campaign.

However, the Reds have since endured a rotten run of five defeats in six games, which have seen bookmakers cut his odds from 20/1 to 16/1.
