Juventus vs. PSG Tips:
It’s been a campaign to quickly forget for the Italian side, they’ve accumulated just three points in their five previous outings and things don’t get any easier for them on Wednesday night. They can qualify for the Europa League Play Offs but nothing is certain as the result in the other game in the group will be hugely important also.
The visitors are priced at 3/5 to win in Turin with the goal line set at 3.0, which is fairly high, but given the attacking talent in the PSG squad it comes at little surprise. Juventus are best priced at 9/2 to record what will be a shock victory here given just how poorly they have been performing.
I'm happy to get behind the 23 year-old forward as my main selection here, he’s been on fire this campaign in the goals department and will fancy himself to score once again in the competition. Mbappe has bagged six times in just five matches in the Champions League this season and leads the charts alongside Mo Salah (until last night).
Allegri’s side have had a poor season in Europe, they have an incredibly long list of injuries which stretches well into double figures. Dusan Vlahovic is another doubt with a groin issue. The Serbian didn’t feature in the weekend's win over Lecce.
Brazilian defender Danilo will miss the match due to suspension, with Weston McKennie the most recent name to be added to the injury room. The American international has appeared in every game except one this season for the Italian side.
Mbappe has scored seven goals this season which have been assisted by the Argentinian and at a price of 9/2 it seems a price that is definitely one to get behind.
With Neymar missing the game due to suspension, the vast majoirty of the PSG attacks should go through those two players who have both had tremendous campaigns. Lionel Messi has registered three assists in four appearances in Europe this season with one of those leading to a Mbappe goal and 10 in 12 Ligue 1 matches.
Overall this could be a cracking 90 minutes, PSG will provide plenty of problems for their opponents in a game they need to win to confirm top spot. The Italian’s need a result also which will force them to attack Galtier’s side who haven’t lost all season.
