Cross Game Multi Tips: JJ Value Hunter's best bets for Saturday's Premier League action

JJ Value Hunter is back three selections for Saturday's Premier League action which when combined into a cross-game multi, pay 27/1 as a treble. He's also added in a rather appealing 80/1 longshot that kicks-off at 12:30 as Wolves host Aston Villa in a midlands derby at Molineux.
Saturday's football tips
Conor Gallagher 1+ shot on target 5/6
Mason Mount anytime assist 9/2
Treble on the three selections above - 27/1
Aston Villa 17+ shots, Villa 6+ shots on target, Villa 6+ corners - 80/1
- Villa average 15 shots per game this season with only Liverpool and Man City averaging more
Saturdays early game looks very well matched on paper, Wolves seem to be going through something of a transitional period with their change in formation as well as dealing with how to cope without their talismanic striker, Villa on the other hand have a very settled team of late with the loss of Barkley not having much effect on how the team play.
With Wolves conceding four last time out I’m happy to oppose them defensively again here, and I was quite shocked to see the shot prices available for Villa, 9/5 for them to have 13 shots looks a huge price to me, they’ve been averaging 15 shots per game so far this season and only Man City and Liverpool are averaging more.
I’m also going to include my longshot for the weekend here too, Villa 17+ shots, Villa 6+ shots on target and Villa 6+ corners at a huge 80/1, it’s landed once already this season for them, and has lost by one shot on target on two other occasions so it certainly looks worth a couple of quid here.
- Only Manchester City and Liverpool average more shots per game than Villa this season
- This bet has landed once this season and has lost by one shot on target on two other occasions
Newcastle v West Brom is a tough one to call this weekend given the Covid outbreak in the Newcastle camp it’s hard to know how many senior players Newcastle will be without here as Bruce has been very quiet on the matter thus far. It’s probably a safer bet to side with West Brom here just in case Newcastle field a depleted line up, although West Brom themselves are going to be without key man Pereira and it remains to be seen who will take his place.
The Baggies have quite a few options available one of which is to move Gallagher into a more advanced role and bring in Livermore to play alongside Sawyers in central midfield. Gallagher has arguably been West Brom’s best player this season and with a goal in each of his last two matches he’s certainly going to be in contention for a more advanced role especially as he thrived there for Charlton and Swansea last season, he’s 5/6 here for one or more shots on target which would certainly drop much shorter if he is given more attacking license this weekend
- Arguably been West Brom's best player this season and could play a more advanced role against Newcastle after scoring in his last two games
Saturday's final game sees two sides with a stark contrast in form, Everton’s bright start to the season looks a distant memory right now with just one win in seven and seemingly no fit full backs available. Chelsea on the other hand seem to have plenty of options all over the park despite missing a few players with injury. One player who you can almost guarantee to see on the team sheet is Mason Mount. He’s taken his game to another level this season despite not finding the net as frequently as you’d expect, one aspect of his game that has improved though is his creativity.
Mount sits top of the key pass rankings for Chelsea this season and is only behind Ziyech for expected assists. He’s 9/2 to nab and assist here which looks a terrific price to me, as with Ziyech injured Mount will likely be on a lot of set pieces and Chelsea have a big aerial threat to capitalise on any opportunities they get, just like they did last weekend where Mount’s corner provided the assist for yet another Zouma goal.
- Top of the key passes rankings for Chelsea this season
- Second to Ziyech for assists as the club this season
- Landed last week with sending in the corner for Kurt Zouma's goal
- Gallagher has scored in his last two games
- Mount ranks 2nd at Chelsea for assists this season
- Only Man City and Liverpool average more shots per game than Villa this season
