Popular Soccer Betting Markets

Futures Bet: This often season-long bet is popular in many sports and soccer is no exception. Sportsbooks will offer odds on the winner markets of competitions such as the World Cup, MLS League & Cup along with top European leagues such as the English Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, and Serie A. Simply bet on the team you think will be lifting the trophy at the end of the season.

Moneyline: Sportsbooks will offer three options on the Moneyline on soccer. Team A wins, Team B wins or a draw. The odds will reflect what the Sportsbook think will happen along with how the action is on all sides of the result. So for example Manchester United are favorites over Arsenal the lines maybe something like Manchester United -250, Draw +200, and Arsenal +450.

Today's Betting Odds

Both Teams to Score: An extremely popular bet from across the pond that is available on most soccer games is the Both Teams to Score bet. Quite simply you are betting 'Yes' or 'No' whether both teams will score a goal in a game. A good one for parlay action this.

Total Goals: With this bet, you are betting an over/under on a certain amount of goals being scored. Usually most books will price up everything from 0.5 goals to 6.5 goals but the most popular and competitive prices will often be found at either over/under 2.5 or 3.5 goals in a game.

Correct Score: If you have a strong feeling a game will end with a certain scoreline then you can place a bet on that as well. For example in that hypothetical Manchester United v Arsenal match-up earlier - a 2-0 home win to Manchester United may well be something like +750. The further away from the expected scoreline, you get, the bigger the odds a book will offer.

Team Props: You can bet on things such as team total goals, team shots, team shots on target.

Player Props: Similar to team props you can bet on any player in a big game to score, get carded and some books even offer shots on target markets for each individual player.
