NFL Draft Betting: Jayden Daniels Leapfrogs Drake Maye as Favorite to be No. 2 Overall Pick

Jayden Daniels is the new favorite to be the No. 2 overall pick in the NFL draft.
The LSU quarterback has seen his stock surge in the past couple of months and now the betting markets give him better odds than Drake Maye to be taken second overall.
Daniels has -115 odds to go No. 2, while Maye checks in at -105 odds, according to DraftKings on March 12th.
The Washington Commanders hold the No. 2 overall pick. They recently hired Kliff Kingsbury as offensive coordinator and then signed dual-threat quarterback Marcus Mariota in free agency, which added to the speculation that the fleet-footed Daniels could be the choice.
Maye had -300 odds to be the No. 2 overall pick in early February but had continually lost ground over the past several weeks. Daniels has now passed him as the favorite, although the oddsmakers believe either choice is still possible.
