Best NFL Same Game Parlay Bet Today: Bears vs. Vikings @ +340 odds on 11/27
Week 12 will wrap on Monday night with an NFC North clash between the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears. Minnesota has remained surprisingly competitive since the season-ending injury to Kirk Cousins, in large part due to the play of trade acquisition Joshua Dobbs, who has done very well at quarterback on short notice.
Will that continue against the Bears? It’s a good matchup against a weak Chicago defense, but it feels like Dobbs is due for some regression. With that in mind, I’ve combined three wagers for a Same Game Parlay on Bears-Vikings at +340 odds through BetMGM.
The sportsbook regularly gives out SGP odds boosts, and mine was pushed up to +510 odds, which is great value. The max bet with the odds boost is $10, but the payout stands at $61.10, including the stake, if it hits.
Without further ado, my three-leg Same Game Parlay with rationale after hitting on my Thanksgiving trifecta on Thursday.
Spread Bet: Bears +3.5
Player Prop Bets: T.J. Hockenson over 59.5 receiving yards; Justin Fields under 224.5 passing yards
Parlay odds: +340 at BetMGM
Leg 1: Chicago Bears to Cover the Spread
- Justin Fields looked great in his return to action last week, averaging 7.3 yards per pass attempt while rushing for 104 yards n 18 carries
- Joshua Dobbs has fumbled 15 times and thrown six interceptions this season, and turnovers could be an issue
- The line is down to +3 but it remains at +3.5 for the SGP, which is a big deal because a field goal margin results in a cover
Leg 2: Minnesota Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson Over 59.5 Receiving Yards
- Hockenson is averaging 66.9 receiving yards per game this season and has reached 60 in four of his past five games
- Hockenson has been targeted 34 times in three games since Dobbs arrived, as the veteran quarterback likes throwing to tight ends as a security blanket
- Star Vikings wideout Justin Jefferson is unlikely to play, which should give Hockenson more target share
- Unless Minnesota jumps way ahead, the passing game volume should be there against a suspect Chicago secondary
Leg 3: Chicago Bears QB Justin Fields Under 224.5 Passing Yards
- Fields has only reached 225 passing yards in two games this season
- If the Bears cover, it means the game will be close and Fields won’t be asked to air it out
- Chicago will lean on its ground attack against a solid Minnesota defense, as both Fields and running back Khalil Herbert should get plenty of rushing attempts
Bears vs. Vikings Same Game Parlay Prediction
- Bears +3.5
- T.J. Hockenson over 59.5 receiving yards
- Justin Fields under 224.5 passing yards
Odds: +340 at BetMGM
