Arizona Cardinals The Odds-On Favorites to Draft Marvin Harrison, Jr.
Marvin Harrison, Jr. is widely projected to be the first non-quarterback selected in the NFL draft.
Where will he end up? According to the oddsmakers at FanDuel, the Cardinals are his most likely destination.
Arizona has -180 odds to draft Harrison, Jr., which easily outdistances any other potential pairing. The Bears are second with +470 odds, followed by the Patriots at +650 odds.
The Cardinals draft No. 4 overall, and these odds reflect the growing belief that quarterbacks Caleb Williams, Drake Maye and Jayden Daniels will be taken within the first three picks.
The implied probability gives Harrison a 64.3% chance to land with the Cardinals, per FanDuel.
Here is a look at the top-six candidates to draft Marvin Harrison, Jr., which can be wagered on at FanDuel.
Team to Draft Marvin Harrison, Jr.
- Arizona Cardinals -180
- Chicago Bears +470
- New England Patriots +650
- Los Angeles Chargers +1000
- Washington Commanders +2900
- New York Giants +2900
The Cardinals cut DeAndre Hopkins last offseason and Hollywood Brown is an impending free agent, so the need at wide receiver is great.
Arizona has burgeoning star Trey McBride at tight end, and the addition of Harrison, Jr. would give quarterback Kyler Murray a pair of potentially elite weapons on offense.
The Cardinals have needs at offensive tackle, cornerback, edge rusher and defensive tackle, but the pedigree of Harrison would be hard to pass up.
While Arizona seems very likely to draft Harrison at 4 if he gets there, the possibility exists that he goes in the top-three. The Bears are big favorites to stick at No. 1 in the draft, and if that happens, they will almost certainly draft Caleb Williams.
But Chicago still has Justin Fields on the roster, and if it chooses to trade out of the top spot for a second consecutive year, it could add draft capital and Harrison, Jr. to the fold, provided a deal is made with either the Commanders or Patriots.
New England picks No. 3 overall, and if the two quarterbacks the Patriots covet are off the board, then Harrison, Jr. could be in play.
However, New England badly needs a quarterback, and now that Jayden Daniels is commonly seen near Maye’s level as a prospect, the odds are with the Patriots choosing one of those two with their pick.
Even if the Patriots aren’t interested in the third quarterback, they could trade down with someone like the Falcons, which would allow Harrison, Jr. to once again fall into the Cardinals’ lap.
The Chargers have the No. 5 overall pick and would likely be extremely interested in Harrison, Jr. if he doesn’t go within the first four picks, but that would be surprising.
