NFL Betting Predictions: Week 15 Odds and Picks Against the Spread

We are coming down the home stretch for predictions. I should finish over .500 for the year but am always striving for more.

Here are the picks for Week 15:

Los Angeles Chargers (+3) at Las Vegas Raiders

I think we are going to see in this game just how much Justin Herbert was propping up the Chargers.

A bad loss to the Raiders would speak volumes. Here is my +400 odds Same Game Parlay pick for it, by the way.

Minnesota Vikings (+3) at Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals have been surprisingly good since Joe Burrow went down, in large part due to Jake Browning.

This is a tough matchup against a good Vikings defense but even if he’s not great, I think Browning will be able to get the ball in the hands of his playmakers.

Pittsburgh Steelers (+1.5) at Indianapolis Colts

The Steelers are still No. 11 in DVOA despite all of the recent issues. I’ll take them to bounce back in this matchup against the Colts and pull a mini road upset.

This is a big game for AFC playoff hopes on both sides.

Denver Broncos (+4.5) at Detroit Lions

The Broncos are surging as coach Sean Payton has gotten his group on track. Even so, I think the Lions are a much more talented group and will be able to find some holes in an improved Denver defense.

Chicago Bears (+3) at Cleveland Browns

Long live Joe Flacco. The veteran quarterback has helped keep the Browns in the playoff race and I think he does enough to help Cleveland win a low-scoring affair here.

The Bears’ offense is much-improved but this is a tough matchup.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+3.5) at Green Bay Packers

The Packers might be the slightly better team but this feels like a matchup of two average ballclubs.

The home field advantage matters but I’m happy to take the spread when this one could very well come down to a late field goal.

Houston Texans (+3) at Tennessee Titans

C.J. Stroud’s value is going to become abundantly clear if he misses this game with a concussion.

The Titans are not a good team but Will Levis has shown some flashes, and the duo of Derrick Henry and DeAndre Hopkins can still get the job done.

New York Jets (+8.5) at Miami Dolphins

Tyreek Hill’s injury is a big deal, whether it keeps him sidelined or limits him against New York and its tough defense.

I don’t expect Zach Wilson to be great again this week but he’s better than Tim Boyle, and should be able to keep this margin within a touchdown.

Kansas City Chiefs (-7.5) at New England Patriots

The Chiefs have had some issues lately and it certainly feels like the Patriots are better on offense with Bailey Zappe under center.

This one could be a lot closer than people expect. Kansas City should win but New England’s defense is good enough to keep it close.

New York Giants (+6) at New Orleans Saints

I hate to say this but I still don’t believe in Tommy DeVito. He’s the toast of New York but the Saints’ defense is going to get to him here.

Atlanta Falcons (-3) at Carolina Panthers

Upset alert? The Panthers are last in DVOA but the Falcons aren’t much better at No. 27. 

Carolina is at home and its defense could have a big day against a shaky Atlanta offense.

Washington Commanders (+6.5) Los Angeles Rams

The Rams have been so impressive this season. Despite a remodel that included the shedding of a bunch of salaries, they are in the thick of the playoff chase.

I think Matthew Stafford eats up the Washington defense here.

San Francisco 49ers (-12.5) at Arizona Cardinals

The 49ers are absolutely dominant on offense, and the Cardinals are the second-worst defense in the NFL by DVOA.

It’s hard to imagine Arizona keeping this game close, even if Kyler Murray can make a few special plays with his arm and legs.

The talent level is just too lopsided.

Dallas Cowboys (+2) at Buffalo Bills

Watch out for the Bills. If they win this game, things are going to get interesting in the AFC.

Despite the record, this is a really good team playing at home. The Cowboys are very good, too, but I think Josh Allen plays great and helps his team to the win.

Baltimore Ravens (-3) at Jacksonville Jaguars

I think the Ravens are a notch above the Jaguars and will show it here. The Jaguars have a good defense but Lamar Jackson is playing at an extremely high level.

Philadelphia Eagles (-4) at Seattle Seahawks

The Eagles could be catching a break here as Geno Smith may have to miss a second game with a groin injury.

Philadelphia has been struggling lately, but I think the defense can do enough to mess with Drew Lock and win the game comfortably.
