Best NFL Parlays for Week 12
Week 12 of the 2024 NFL campaign is here, kicking off with a Thursday Night Football showdown between the AFC North rival Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns. Both bookend primetime games will be worth watching, as Monday Night Football is the Harbaugh Bowl between John’s Baltimore Ravens and Jim’s Los Angeles Chargers. Sunday’s slate is headlined by the San Francisco 49ers’ trip to Lambeau Field for a meeting with the Green Bay Packers.
Let’s take a look at our favorite three-leg parlay for Week 12.
- Tennessee Titans vs. Houston Texans Parlay Picks: Texans -7.5 (-115)
- San Francisco 49ers vs. Green Bay Packers Parlay Picks: Packers -2.5 (-110)
- Philadelphia Eagles vs. Los Angeles Rams Parlay Picks: Rams ML (+130)
Tennessee Titans vs. Houston Texans Parlay Picks: Texans -7.5 (-115)
The Texans are playing on a short week, but their Monday Night Football outing might as well have been a bye. After all, they faced the Dallas Cowboys. Okay, that may be overly harsh toward Dallas – but Houston had zero trouble cruising to its seventh victory of the year. Next up for the Texans is another favorable matchup with the 2-8 Titans.
It’s hard to see the Titans keeping up with C.J. Stroud, Joe Mixon and the rest of the Texans’ offense. Mixon has exceeded the 100-yard mark six times this season after torching the Cowboys for 109 yards and three touchdowns on Monday. Meanwhile, Tennessee has scored 13, 17, 20, 14, 10 and 17 points over its last six games. Now Will Levis has to go up against a Houston defense that is No. 6 in the league against the pass. This matchup figures to be a beatdown.
San Francisco 49ers vs. Green Bay Packers Parlay Picks: Packers -2.5 (-110)
San Francisco vs. Green Bay may be the most anticipated matchup on Sunday’s slate. It is an especially important game for the 49ers, who are 5-5 and need to make a second-half surge to secure a playoff spot in the NFC. The Packers, on the other hand, are rolling along nicely at 7-3.
Heading into this season, the 49ers were supposed to be the best team in the NFC, if not even in the entire NFL. To say that hasn’t turned out to be the case would be an understatement.
Christian McCaffrey’s extended absence did not help, but even with him on the field, the Niners’ offense did not exactly play great the last two weeks. And they still aren’t healthy. Brock Purdy is questionable with an injury to his throwing shoulder, and both George Kittle (hamstring) and Nick Bosa (hip) are also currently listed as day-to-day. Now head coach Kyle Shanahan’s club has to go on the road and face an opponent that has lost only to the Philadelphia Eagles, Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions. Count on the Packers winning and covering.
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Los Angeles Rams Parlay Picks: Rams ML (+130)
For various reasons, all three primetime games in Week 12 offer some intrigue. Eagles vs. Rams on Sunday Night Football is no exception, as both NFC representatives have realistic playoff aspirations. Philadelphia comes in with an 8-3 record, while the Rams are just 5-5 but have won four of their last five contests.
A big reason for Los Angeles’ slow start was the absence of its two star receivers, Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua. Both players are healthy now and have the Rams’ offense in full flight. Matthew Stafford has tossed 10 touchdown passes in the last four games, twice racking up four TDs during this stretch. The offensive uptick combined with a young defense led by rookie pass rusher Jared Verse makes head coach Sean McVay’s squad a formidable foe on both sides of the ball. Philadelphia is also playing well, but five of its eight victories have been by one possession margins. Give me L.A. plus the field goal.
NFL Week 12 Parlay: Texans -7.5, Packers -2.5 & Rams ML (+721)
Houston and Green Bay are two favorites to feel good about backing right now. As for the Rames, they have great value as a home underdog. All things considered, +721 is an enticing price for this NFL Week 12 parlay.
