AFC East Odds & Betting Picks
For years this was as safe a bet as you can have but the New England Patriots dynasty is no more and it is the Buffalo Bills who are odds-on to win the division.
Miami are the second-choice with the majority of Sportsbooks - they have a high pick in the draft and if they add another dynamic playmaker - they could be an intriguing choice.

Defending Champion: Buffalo Bills (13-3)
Off season news:
The headline from the early days of Free Agency is clearly about the New England Patriots dropping dollar dollar bills y'all. Coming off the back of an extremely disappointing 2020 campaign, they've re-upped with Cam Newton for a sensible price that gives the team flexibility to still attract a QB either via trade or the draft. The additions of TE duo Jonnu Smith and Hunter Henry with WR pair Nelson Agholor and Kendrick Bourne indicate they are seriously looking to upgrade at the skill positions. Is it enough to get them past the Bills? I'm not so sure.
Speaking of the Buffalo Bills, they haven't made too many moves as their 2020 squad didn't need much re-tooling. Emmanuel Sanders is in to replace John Brown as WR2. They made a run at bringing Gronk in but unsurprisingly he stuck with the Buccaneers.
I liked what I saw of the Miami Dolphins last year but they were a much better team with Ryan FitzPatrick under Center than with rookie Tua Tagovailoa. The latter looks set to get the job this year full-time unless a trade for DeShaun Watson can be swung. Free Agency so far has been about complementary pieces rather than big moves.
As for the New York Jets, well they look like they are keeping Sam Darnold (for now) and the addition of WR Corey Davis should give him another good-looking target. The franchise however is still an awfully long way from being competitive but they do possess the number two overall pick heading into the NFL Draft.
