March Madness Betting: North Carolina The Higher Seed, But Arizona Favored To Win West Region

The Arizona men’s basketball team might not be the top seed in the West Region, but they are still the favorites to win it and make the Final Four.

DraftKings (top US betting site) has unveiled its odds for each region, and No. 2 Arizona is listed at +120 to win the West. North Carolina is the top seed but is listed with +170 odds.

The Wildcats will face off with Clemson in the Sweet Sixteen, where they are 7.5-point favorites to advance and -310 on the moneyline.

Arizona won its first-round matchup over Long Beach State and then knocked off seventh-seeded Dayton in the Round of 32. The Wildcats are 27-8 on the season and are led by Caleb Love, who averages 18.1 points, 3.5 assists and 1.1 steals per game.

The Tar Heels have the tougher task, as they are four-point favorites against Alabama and -185 on the moneyline. 

North Carolina routed Wagner in the opening round and defeated Michigan State in the Round of 32. The Tar Heels are 29-7 on the season.

The Wildcats have the fourth-best odds to win the men’s basketball championship, while North Carolina comes in slightly behind at No. 5.
