Inter Miami

With no doubt the best group of MLS players heading into the 2024 season, Inter Miami is already leading the stats and is often the favorite on moneyline bets with the likes of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez leading the charge to an MLS Cup triumph.

Most MLS picks and MLS predictions at the start of the season favored Miami. It is top of the odds list for bets to win the cup, and we predict it to reign supreme in most of its games this year.

Seattle Sounders

As far as stats go, Seattle Sounders getting into the post-season is certainly worth a wager. The Sounders have only failed to get into the post-season once since coming into MLS in 2009, as it did not qualify in 2022. This means Seattle boosts of the best record in recent regular season history, surpassing the likes of Colorado Rapids, Real Salt Lake, San Jose Earthquakes, New York Red Bulls, and Sporting Kansas City.

Seattle has also won the MLS Cup twice and is a regular competitor for the trophy and often a favorite on the money line.

Los Angeles FC

2023 was a bizarre year for Los Angeles FC. It managed to make it to the MLS Cup final, but was defeated by Columbus Crew, while it also lost the CONCACAF Champions League final and the Campeones Cup Final too. Nevertheless, this MLS campaign is set to be another excellent one for LAFC with it keeping hold of the services of Golden Boot winner, Denis Bouanga, and adding the likes of Kei Kamara and Hugo Lloris to its roster.

More often than not, you'll see LAFC winning MLS picks and MLS predictions with it only failing to get into the Major League Soccer Playoffs once since entering Major League Soccer in 2017. In 2022, the Black and Gold stormed to a Western Conference victory for the second time after triumphing in 2019 as well. Last campaign, LAFC finished behind only Louis City SC in the Western table and by only four points.

Keep an eye out for El Tráfico too, which has rapidly become arguably the most fierce derby in American soccer since the first game in 2018 against LA Galaxy.

Denis Bouanga

After winning the MLS Golden Boot with Los Angeles, Denis Bouanga opted to stay with it and is now right towards the top of the odds list to win the top scorer award once more. More often than not, LAFC leads the way in stats and is the favorite on the moneyline, and much of this comes down to what Bouanga can do each match. Bouanga is currently priced at +400 wo win the MLS Golden Boot.

Cucho Hernandez

One of the standout players from the 2023 Major League Soccer campaign was Cucho Hernandez. Current MLS betting sees the Columbus Crew towards the top of the odds list to win the cup, as they managed to triumph as the underdog in 2023 where Hernandez won the MLS Cup MVP award.

For example, Real Salt Lake FC might be one of the best defensive teams in the league (as it was in 2023), but the majority of its shutouts came at home. So, should it be at New York City FC, for example, logically, it likely struggles to make another shutout, which is something the computer may skip over.

Considering every factor - even things like the weather - are great way to beat the moneyline each time you wager. Our human picks will take a look at every factor across an MLS season, including previous meetings earlier in the year, historic battles, and so on.

Computer-Generated Picks Are Too Strict

For example, just because the Portland Timbers FC defeated the Montreal Impact FC in 2023, this doesn't mean it will in 2024.
